Infiniti Q50 is also a better lease deal than these overpriced, unsubsidized Accords. I don't get you guys overpaying unless you really need a car this early in the month.
Ended up signing a lease. MSRP $32860, 2018 Accord 2.0L EX-L, $2000 drive off check (includes taxes, acquisition and dealer fees, and first months payment), $376 monthly, 12K miles a year. !

while the TLX has very favorable lease terms, i suggest you do some DD on the DCT (dual clutch tranny in the TLX). For me, too many problems even for a 3 year lease...
They want $480/month for 36 months with everything rolled up except DMV And first month. That's for the touring. that's a lot, no?
I'd say that's a pretty typical quote for that model.
Yes, it's a lot of money for a $36K MSRP vehicle.
I'd look to lease an Acura TLX or a Maxima, or any other number of vehicles, before I'd drop over $450/mo. on an Accord.
You think an EXL with Nav would be OK ? at about $405 monthly with no security (assuming vehicle price is 28k). How much is security, anyway? The security only takes away $5/month. That worth doing?
Whatever you are willing to pay is okay. I don't see value in a $28K MSRP vehicle for $400/mo. though.
The security deposit is the monthly payment, rounded up to the next $25 increment.
So, they'll pay you $5/month, every month, for holding your $500. That's a 12% after-tax return. Granted, you are only making the money on $500, so in the big picture, it's not a large thing, but that would be worth it, to me.
28k is negotiated price of vehicle, MSRP is 30,860 - do you see value in that?
Thanks for the explanation of the security. You make sense.
Could I get residual and mf in Massachusetts for- 2018 Accord EX-L 2.0T & 2017 Accord EX-L V-6 lowest mileage allowance and most aggressive term please. Thanks so much.
If you really want a Honda Product, the Acura TLX is a much better lease right now. At least $100 less per month. Looks like you could do a Lexus ES for the same or less than the Accord also. I'm hoping Honda will provide normal leases in March, when I turn it my current Accord lease. If not, Acura it is!
To piggy back on this, we leased our ES350 luxury pkg, msrp $47k, $1k at signing for 423 a month incl 7.75% tax.

I get $442/mo with those prices. $430 looks good, by comparison.
You are right. I just left Acura dealer. I got an offer for TLX V6 w/ tech spec for $444 plus dmv only.
You can do better than $444/mth. Just with online inquiry I got $399 + TAX (MA 6.25%) Sign & Drive for FWD V6 Tech. The dealer then said "How far apart are we". So I'm sure they could do a little better. Use the lease calculator to see what you need to get to for it . Good Luck. Accord just isn't worth the number they have now.
Posted earlier about My 300 per mo 300 first month out of pocket lease for the LX 1.5 was that a decent deal? Car is great! Any feedback would be appreciated.

With no lease subsidy from Honda, and from what I have been reading, in my opinion that’s a decent deal this early in the new generation’s rollout.
Congrats and enjoy your new Accord - they are great vehicles!

Thought some of you may want thisinfo as a reference. The Dealer I current lease my 2015 Accord from called me this morning to give me some President's Day Sale numbers on a new EX-L 2.0T. He offered a Sign & Drive with only first month due at signing of $406/mth. This is everything, including MA State Tax of 6.25%. Still to high for me for an Accord, but thought it maybe a good reference point for those currently shopping. Good Luck!
Anyone know what the President's Day specials are for leasing an 18 Accord? Still interested in a 1.5 Touring... Going to Dealer to make a deal today but if there's a better one I'll wait obviously.

Doubt the lease numbers will change, but you might find better pricing.
Thanks... any advice on how to get the dealer to pay my Nissan Disposition fee?
Have them appraise your Nissan as a trade in - if they allow an amount at least equal to your payoff, trade it in. Otherwise, you’ll probably be responsible for the disposition fee.

Congrats! Enjoy your new Accord - I test drove the Sport model and was quite impressed with it.
It certainly feels like a bad time to buy this car. New makeover on the model and new in the year. Knowing this, I have been contacting dealers for prices for 18' 2.0t Sport Manual and my question is - how cheap can manuals really go for? I received a 4k discount off MSRP (31,200) by just calling into a dealer. My other question is when are money factors expected to drop for these, if at all?
I test drove a 2.0L manual and I was honestly speechless. But I am so conflicted on making the decision to buy now or wait. Some numerical advice would be appreciated on the benefits of waiting or leasing now with possibly 4k off MRSP on .002100 36/12 no down

That's a strong discount, but, as you noted, it's a manual.
.00210 and 60%, with your prices, results in a payment of $332/mo before tax, assuming all fees are paid up front.
Depending on your state with this new 2018 model... Pricing , Incentives and Leasing numbers are on the higher end. If there is no rush to buy/ lease............ it pays to wait 3 to 5 months.

Agreed. I definitely wouldn't lease, with these terms.
A Wall Street Journal reporter is hoping to find a recent buyer that would be willing to talk about their experience at the dealership, specifically about how/if the salesperson explained car safety systems during the purchase process. She's hoping to ask a few questions about how the dealer explained the ADAS package, tried to sell it to them, demonstrated how it worked, etc. Please send a note to pr@edmunds.com by next Friday 2/23/18

No, Honda doesn't have a Multiple Security Deposit program.
Banks don't play around with security deposits. Your lease end charges are your lease end charges. If you have a security deposit, they'll deduct the charges, before refunding/billing you the balance. If you don't have a security deposit, they'll just bill you for the charges.
Late payments, etc won't affect your security deposit, unless you flat out default on the lease.

Thanks. If I have $0 wear and tear at end of lease, and no outstanding payments, does the security deposit go to the disposition fee (if I am not getting another Honda)? Or does it get refunded? The MF would be lower though if I give one, correct? .00220 to .00210?

Any lease end charges will come out of the security deposit, before it's refunded. The net cost will be the same, whether you have a security deposit, or not.
But, by giving the security deposit, you'll save .00010 on the money factor.
My Nissan Altima is worth nothing lol I got the 18 Accord 1.5 Touring for tax down and $430/month for 12k and 36 months. msrp 34690 with $1000 flex cash
BTW, what was the selling price of the car before the flex cash? I had a few questions about the $1000 flex cash:
1. What part of the country are you located? I'm in the north east. 2. Were you aware of the flex cash or did the dealer mention it to you as a lease incentive? 3. When I purchased my Accord 5 years ago, there was $500 flex cash (for financing through Honda).
I am cross shopping/comparing the Touring 2.0T against some luxury cars. Pricing on the Accord is not that great right now, given it is a new model. I am in no rush to buy, but I will probably make a decision in the fall when new models are released. The more I see the Accord on the road, the more I am leaning away from this new model. I am not a big fan of the exterior design. Finance rates are also not that great. Not seeing any 0.9% or 1.9% rates yet.
BTW, has anyone else gotten flex cash on a purchase/lease? Just curious.
