Hello all. Been following for a while but first time posting. Went to the dealership to get an obsidian blue touring 2.0t and was told they couldn't get it for me. Apparently it's one of the rarest combos around and the closest to me is over 330 miles away. They cant get one transferred and they cant get one from the factory. I've been waiting since the day it released to get one as it's time to get out of my current lease in September.

I requested 'Your Special E-Price!' from a dealership near me. They responded quickly with a price that made me happy. I asked if they will do a lease based on that price. Since then my calls and texts are not returned. Did I say the wrong thing?

sometimes, the prices are different because of incentives. what trim are you asking about? suggest multiple dealer quotes so you know you're getting the best deal...

Aha! So the dealer may have received incentives from Honda Financial Services that only apply to sales, not leasing. So they can't do a lease based on the same price.

Correct.... you have to be up front with them that you are leasing, so you can get the appropriate pricing.

Is this a good deal? I understand Honda is not giving out the best lease deals right now and I would be in a better position if I could wait, but unfortunately my 2012 accord is totaled and I need a car. Thanks for your thoughts!

What is the tax rate?

With your prices, I get $336/mo before tax.

The deals are improving, but you can get a comparable Camry or Sonata for less.

So disappointing. I was told "No money due at signing." And those were the figures I was given via e-mail. So somewhere they are trying to hide $1000+.

So I just received what I feel to be a great quote for the EX-L 1.5T for $25,574.78 in So Cal. If I did 36 months/12k per year with a tax rate of 9.5%, pay the acquisition fee upfront and $1000 down (total drive off of $2500) I'm looking at payments of $264. Does that seem accurate and in your opinion a good deal? Thanks Michaell!

Acquisition fee is $595 for Honda, so there is some monies unaccounted for in your $2500. I'd ask for a full accounting.

The down payment is used to lower the payment. It is not returned at the end of the lease.

And, if the lease ends early - the car is stolen or totaled, for example - you lose that up front cash.

12K is the lowest mileage allowance from Honda
