Does it make a difference how an incentive is applied? Like the $1000 lease cash for Honda?

The $1000 is a dealer incentive, so incorporate it into any offer you make.

What is the residual value and money factor for a 2018 1.5 Sport on a 36 month lease for 15K millage per year? What kind of monthly payment should I be looking for with zero down? Thanks

    .00092 MF and 56% residual

Would need the MSRP and selling price to calculate a payment

Locked up a deal today on a Touring 2.0T for 360 per month.  Just under 2k oop (tax + fees + first month).  This was for 36 months and 10k per year.  MSRP was 36,695 with a selling price of 30,769.  Oh, and I’m located in Central NJ. Hope this helps someone in the area.

Hi everyone. I guess its a weekend break? Question the RV for a honda ex in 91602 is 55%? I was quoted by a deal a value of 57% written like 55% plus 2%. So is it 57 percent in LA? or did they add in 2 percent for some reason?

I'm pleased with the deal I recently got on a new 2018 Honda Accord EX 1.5T in the Boston, MA area. Details are:

    Residual = 57% ($16,168.05)
    Money factor = 0.00092
Monthly payment = $339, on a 36 month/36,000 miles Honda Financial Services lease

The negotiated price for the car ("agreed upon value") was $25,082.66 - that's $942.34 below invoice at the time.

Included in the lease was the acquisition fee, title/registration/inspection, and dealer documentation fees. This, the net capital cost of the lease was $26,249.66.

Only the first month's payment ($339) was due at signing.

    I agree with your math..
Ask them for the adjusted CAP cost on that deal. You may find that they've added accessories or something to the sale price they quoted.

I think they do charge $20 or $30 for electronic filing in CA.

No.. they aren't going to make your first payment.
If they do, it just raises the price somewhere else.

ACCORD EX/ These people aren't budging. Will August be better?  Best so far is 330 per month with tax  and the AQQ rolled into payments . and 834 drive off (1st payment, ca license, tax) another deal was 311 p/m but had to do AQQ part of drive off so like 1400 !

Will they be more flexible in a few days like the 28th or should i wait to august 1?

Wait until you need a car, then start negotiating hard.

There are enough Honda dealers in CA; only takes one to meet your numbers.

No insight on what will happen in August.

If you have a price in mind.... Then, make that offer. Tell them they have one chance to meet it, or you are off to the next dealer.

Don't ask the dealer for their invoice price. It's useless in negotiations.
Offer the price you think is fair, given your research. you don't need to explain it to the dealer.

Are dealers more likely to discount a car that has been on the lot for about 7 months? Wouldn’t they want to get rid of it?

    Thank you.

Yes, older inventory will always be a priority to the dealers to move, so you should be able to make a more aggressive offer.

    Help me beat this!
