What is the MF and RV on '18 Accord EX-L 2.0t, 36/10k and 36/12k, zip code 11747? Also, do you think it would be better to jump on the EX-L 2.0t this month due to the $1k incentive or would waiting 1-2 months result in a better deal? Thanks in advance!

    36/12
    .00092 MF
    56% residual
    $1000 incentive

Add 1% if 10K/yr is available in your area.

No idea what might happen in the future.
But, residuals get adjusted every 2 months, and that is up on September 4th. They might not go down, but I'll guess they will. Other variables could change to make up for it, but we don't know.
I ended up going forward with leasing an EX-L 2.0t last month for $359/month, 36/10k, everything rolled into the payment (tax @ 8.625%). I just paid 1st month plus DMV out of pocket. I don't know if I got a "great" deal, but I think I did ok.

The sales consultant started the process by offering $499/month. I almost stood up and walked away, but having memorized all the numbers, I asked him for a pen and pad to show why I thought the payment should be $350/month. He said he didn't think the sales manager would go for it, but when the sales manager came over, he asked me how I got all the numbers. I told him "the internet" and he said, "Wow, your numbers are spot on." He said he couldn't go below $365/month. The best offer I had received via email from other dealerships near me was $369/month so I told the sales manager I'd think about it on my drive back to the office. He asked if I'd do the deal right then and there for $359/month and I said yes.

I later asked the sales consultant if I would have gotten the same deal without having written out all the numbers. He said yes, but it would have taken a significantly longer time. By knowing the numbers, I was able to cut out several back and forths.
    Congrats on the new Accord!

Thanks for the advice. I'm still waiting for them to call me back to confirm the MSRP, selling price and adjusted cost.

In my calculation, MSRP is 30845 selling price is about $25600 and the adjusted cost is $27000.

Would I be able to see what the estimated monthly would be on a 2018 Accord Sport and Accord Touring, 3yr/36k miles, $0 down, zip 92602, 700+ credit:

    Accord Sport

    MSRP: $26,675
    Sell price: $23,604

    Sales tax: $1,836
    Estimated Registration & Fees: $438

    Accord Touring

    MSRP: $34690
    Sell price: $29,827

    Sales tax: $2,318
    Estimated Registration & Fees: $528

These get added onto the "sale" price, so total out the door is $25,877 and $32,673, respectively. Hope that makes sense.

    Sales tax: $2,318
    Estimated Registration & Fees: $528

These get added onto the "sale" price, so total out the door is $25,877 and $32,673, respectively. Hope that makes sense.

Tried to trade in my 2016 Civic Touring sedan with 40k miles yesterday for a new Accord 2.0 Touring - the dealer wouldn't give me the numbers backing their price but simply brought out a piece of paper with bold blue highlighter in all caps that said "TONIGHT ONLY - $547/mo for 35 mos with 0 down - 18k miles/yr" and wanted me to immediately sign. Without the sheet giving me the numbers of how they got to that price, I walked out. I have about $4k worth of Civic payments left that I'm guessing got rolled into that price somehow. I'm in zip 45324. Good deal?

    $550/mo. for an Accord?

I can lease a BMW or Mercedes for that amount.

Do you own or lease your Civic?

MSRP for a Touring 2.0T is about $36,690. Invoice price is about $33.6k. I would aim for a lease sale price of at least $2k below invoice before any applicable incentives.

Is there a reason you are looking to trade in your civic? Why not finish paying it off first? No dealer is going to "eat" those payments. They will be rolled into your new lease.

I would recommend doing all negotiations via email or phone. If a dealer is not forthcoming with a detailed breakdown of all the numbers, move on. Honda dealers are a dime a dozen. Only walk into a dealership for a test drive, to inspect the car and/or when you are ready to sign the papers.

Btw, if you drive 18k miles a year, why lease instead of buy?

I currently lease it for 15k mi/year but I'm about to reach my mileage at 10 mos before my lease is up. I always get loaded cars so the BMW and Mercedes leases start getting up there in the upper 600's and 700's quickly.

As said above, looking to trade in because I'm about to reach my mileage 10 mos before my lease is up. I only tend to keep cars for 2 to 2 1/2 years so that's why I lease versus buy. If I did purchase my car out at the end of the lease to avoid over-mileage costs, I'd want to immediately trade it in for a newer vehicle anyways. I decided on the Accord because I figured already being in a Honda lease would help me get a lower payment or get out of the lease sooner then if I were to go to any other manufacturer.

The Accord leases aren't very good. Your vehicle plan seems like an expensive way to go.
