So, you should already know the residual amount, before negotiating price.

Hi Guys/Gals,

Turning in a lease on a Acura TLX, under miles by 15k.

Looking to upgrade to the MDX - can you please provide base money factor & residual for 7,500 miles per year. Also, any incentives, loyality, etc that may apply. Dealer says they have 4 2018's they want to move. (or better to get a 2019 because of higher residual value?)

Also, side note I was told that I can roll my 15k extra miles from the TLX to the MDX and I get the residual value of the 7,500 mile lease (better) and full credit for my miles. So I'm going to get a 7,500 miles per year lease, but end up with 37,500 miles to use (7,500 x 3 years + 15,000 roll over miles)

Any tricks I need to look out for on this type of deal?

The mileage roll over is a nice feature offered by Acura. It's a pretty straightforward program, exactly as you describe it. Just make sure it's documented on the new contract.

OH taxes the sum of the payments, plus the incentives, plus any taxable fees. The money is collected up front - you can either pay it at signing, or roll it into the monthly payments, which is what is happening here.

New programs start on November 1st.

MF and residual hasn't changed since early September.
