10k miles per year, 36/39 month lease.

Am I looking for an impossible lease to keep this payment at $525? I may just go with the Q50 for $410/mo... Which is definitely not as nice a ride!

I posted in the 2017 Forum, but I am also looking at leasing a 2018 RWD; AWD Ti; AWD Ti Sport. From reading prior posts in that Forum, it appears that the MF and Residuals you provide are from Chrysler Capital. I would think that my questions about Alfa dealers, etc. in that post apply to 2018 too so I won't ask those questions again so I don't overstay my welcome. Again, my main concern is the depreciation of the car and despite the low interest rate being offered on 2018's, I am considering leasing to hedge against uncertain values 24 and 36 months forward. I would appreciate it if you could provide the available MF for 2018 RWD Ti; AWD Ti and any different MF or Residuals on any of those models with the Sport Package if that matters. Again, my apologies in advance for the length of my comment and sheer number of questions; I am just trying to educate myself in what's not a very transparent process. Thanks

It's good to ask questions; we're here to make sense of all of this and level the playing field when you do step into the dealer.

Yes, the only numbers we have are from Chrysler Capital. We also see dealers use Ally and US Bank frequently, though we don't have their numbers.

I'll assume 15,000 miles per year for these numbers.

I should have asked if you do not put any money down, is the sales price the equivalent of the Capitalized Cost?
It's unclear to me what effect the reduction in the sales price has on the cost of the lease, can you clarify that for me.
I know you don't focus on incentives and pricing, but is there a forum that does because I have not found that.

Add 2% for 24 month term, or 3% for 36 month term to go from 15K to 10K/yr

Sale price = Capitalized cost, if you pay all fees and other charges upfront.
Since the residual is fixed, a lower sale price results in lower depreciation, resulting in a lower lease payment.

Shopping is the best way to get price comparisons.

The dealer offered $489/mo, 39 mos, 10k/yr for 2018 Ti sport awd, MSRP $53940. This seems like a steal. Drive off $3311 which includes tax, reg, doc fee, acquisition and 1st mo. This was done via email and phone. sales price was not given, just that this dealer is the 2nd largest and in sales in the country and saw that I was out of state and shopping around and have me a very aggressive. Also said he gave me all the incentives ($3750?) Too good to be true?

What state and tax rate is this?
What adjusted cap cost was used for the quote? Would be good to have that information to ensure there aren't any junk fees added in.

What is the specific breakdown of the upfront monies?

We don't have the incentive information.

.00037 and 48% for 39/10 - to get that payment, the cap cost would have to be around $44,000.

The deals are starting to finally arrive.

They aren't playing with the money factor and residual.
Just ask for the sale price, adjusted CAP cost and the itemization.

It's the difference between .19% and 1,78% APR, Still not that expensive to borrow the money for a longer term.
