Does this deal sound too good to be true? I'm in PA and for QX 60 with Premium/Premium Plus and Driver Assistance package I am being offered 39mo 10k $398 per month w/ 1st mo, reg, taxes, & $2700 in MSD due at signging, no down payment. This price is with VPP. That's 19% off of MSRP!!!

The dealer is 4 hrs drive from me and did offer me this after verifying my state and zip code. If I am to take him up on the offer, I am worried I'd be going in for a surprise...

Any comment for this lease noob?

The $52,560 must be the adjusted CAP, with all fees included, as I get $623/mo.+tax with that number, which is very close to the $639/mo.

That's a decent deal, but we've seen more aggressive pricing than that.. Read back a few pages and see what others have paid.

The dealer told me that the selling price is $44,832 and Adjusted CAP Cost is $46,864. They are quoting me at $591 per month with first payment due at signing. The calculations are correct.
They must be folding some of the title/registration fees into that doc fee.

The only way to get cheaper is to negotiate a lower price.

But, we don't recommend you use trade equity to buy down the payment - you're renting the car. Would you prepay the rent on an apartment?

If I use the $41,1210 as the cap cost, I get $398/mo plus tax. Which is still a great payment on a $46K SUV.

I Purchased my Infiniti QX60 AWD yesterday at a different dealership.
MSRP: 46095, We agreed upon 38500, I traded in my old MDX for 4950, The fees and all that came up to closer to 3000, Lease term: 39/10k. The residual was 57% (If im not mistaking) and a MF of .00065, My Monthly payment including tax was roughly about $325 a month and I did not have too much due at signing.
I think I would have got a better deal on a MDX (I have driven a MDX for more than 10 years now so..) So I switched to Infiniti. I was also considering the RX but that monthly payment was almost near $400 a month and it also does not have seven seating. (Unless if i switch to ann RX350L which cost almost 55k.<— way over the budget for a SUV for me and my husband)
Again do you think i maybe overpayed or is it a nice deal?

Yes, What they have gave me for my SUV is $4950 (Which is 100% payed off), The $3000 are the fee's like documentation, acquisition, bank fee, registration and title fees. I was also maybe considering putting $1000 down to buy off the monthly payment but my colleges at work told me it's not worth it. So basically my due at signing is near $2000

I also see advertisments on Television or on the newspapers saying $409 a month with almost $4000 DUE AT SIGNING! I found it ridiculous to have that much signing for a car your going to give up in 3 years

If you are trading in a $4950 vehicle and then putting up $2000 more, that's $7000 due at signing.

Confused , I was not at dealer so my information might be off, Why is it so much due at signing when you want to trade your car in that has been payed off. I do not think my husband would agree to have $7000 due at signing, We agreed on no more than $4000-$5000 due. So If we had not trade our car in to buy the Infiniti, Our due at signing would be lower and our monthly would be higher.
So If I had a car and wanted to trade it in for a lease and the resale value is 20k, I would have to have $20,000 due at signing? I really don't get how due at signing works.. Can you please explain on how it really all works.

Due at signing can be whatever amount you want it to be.

On my last two leases, I only gave them the first payment when I signed the contracts (registration is handled separately in CO). If your state requires that you pay the registration costs up front, pay those as well.

Anything else beyond that is at risk, if the car is stolen or totaled before the end of lease. That is also true of trade equity. You can trade your car in, and have it cover the first payment and registration costs, and the dealer can give you a check back for the balance.

Yes, the more you put down, the smaller your payment will be, but it doesn't change the total cost of the lease.

$4000 up front + $500/mo for 36/mo = $22,000
$611/mo for 36/mo = $22,000

Leased this weekend. QX60 Majestic White FWD with Deluxe Technology, Premium, Premium Plus packages, running boards, tint and a few other silly dealer options. MSRP $58,175 plus about $900 in dealer options. Agreed upon price $48,500. Rolled all fees and first month's payment into the lease. Paid $3,850 in seven MSDs to bring the interest rate down from 1.78% to .10%, that dropped the payment $65 a month. Total payment including tax is $494.

Be advised, the numbers are the same for both 36 and 39 month leases, so the 39 month payment will be lower.

Yes, the price for a purchase and the price for a lease will likely be different, due to different incentives applying.
