2018 Mazda CX-5 Lease Deals and Prices

Trade in value for my 2014 Mazda 6 was also a lot less than KBB/Edmonds so if I trade I would be left with about $2000 in negative equity due to a previous accident that will show up on the carfax.  This was not factored into the above numbers because I would not trade it in for what they are offering.  


Does this sound reasonable?  I left with a lot to think about but I've learned so much already just from reading the last few pages. Thanks alot

Sport: 55% residual. $1420 lease cash
Touring: 57% residual.
GT: 57% residual

The part about leasing vs. buy and the bank needing to know, is just crap. They can run the numbers both ways.
.00001 is the base MF for top tier credit. Dealers can mark it up by .00050 for extra profit. Lower credit also will result in a higher rate.

Your set price is 4% below MSRP?
You might try another dealer, and leave out the e-plan, and see what you get.

Sales tax in PA is an extra 3% on leases, so 9%-11% sales tax on the payment, depending on your local rate. So, I don't think you'll be under $300/mo. (of course, you don't mention MSRP or which trim).

If you have a Carmax nearby, take your current vehicle there for a quote. They will make an offer to buy it, it's good for seven days. At least that way, you'll have a baseline value.

Thanks for the info.  Very helpful!   I pulled the autocheck report and the accident doesn't even show up so I would be interested to see what others would value it.  I'll take it to CarMax like you suggested.  Wasn't aware of the additional 3% on leases in PA either.

I just leased a 2018 AWD Touring + Preferred package for my daughter under the E plan also so I might be able to help a little. S plan is dealer invoice and E plan is 4% under invoice, not MSRP. I don't have the paperwork in front of me but for a 36/10 lease with the additional $750 loyalty bonus it came to about $290 with only the first payment due at drive off. I've seen people get similar deals to the E plan on their own however they invested a lot of time and effort in negotiating. With the E plan it should be effortless. I could walk the lot with either of my dealers and they would work up quotes on whatever cars I asked in just a few minutes. When comparing quotes between my two local dealers it always came down to only a few dollar difference which was due to their difference in doc fees.

We initially started out looking at the Mazda 3's, then moved to the CX3 GT then onto the CX5 when I realized the CX3 GT was nearly the same price and the CX5 Touring + actually leased for $5 less than the CX3 GT.

Looking for opionions...pull the trigger on a lease for AWD CX-5 today or wait to see what programs come out tomorrow.  Returning leasee so I get 750 incentive today.  Worried the residuals will go down.

I posted a similar deal here earlier this week you might want to look at. Looks like you're putting down $300 cap cost reduction? I wouldn't do that. But otherwise it looks pretty good to me.
