Any tips on how to get the dealer down to base MF? Does telling them you would end up paying cash or doing outside financing help? Wouldn't they lose out more if you came in with cash over leasing with base rate?

Tell them you'll lease a BMW or Mercedes for a lot less, if they insist on adding $150 of extra finance charges to your lease. Of course, you have to mean it. That could mean you don't end up with a Range Rover.
I am coming up with about an $8k difference over the lease term between .00245 and .00345. At that point it really does benefit me to pay cash.
Maybe.. but, if you plan on selling after three years and actually getting back 64% of MSRP, you might be sad. I'm not suggesting you pay the markup, but the resale on a purchase is unknown.
It's a ridiculously expensive luxury vehicle, and most dealers would consider the prospective customer to be less than price sensitive.
Any downside to leasing from a third party leasing company. I was referred to a company that offered me a $1490 to lease a 2018 TD6, as opposed to $1890 at the dealership.

Please advise.
A lease broker still has to get the car from a dealer. Doesn't seem like they would be able to save you $14K on the same vehicle. So, I'd be worried about downsides. I'd want to know what bank they are using, and the lease parameters.
I was almost about to pull the trigger on a lease, when a friend mentioned that he gets a bill from the county for personal property taxes, since he has leased his vehicle. Since I was completely unaware of this, it got me to hold back till I find out more.

If you get a property tax bill on cars that you own, then you'll get one for a leased vehicle, as well. If you don't get it, the bank will, and then will bill you for it.
I am assuming no discounts will be applied to the car since it is very hard to get discounted RR's and I ordered the car once they had allocation. MSRP on the car is$117, 725

$1680/mo.+tax, assuming the MSRP is also the CAP cost. You'll have DMV, dealer fees, acquisition fee and first payment to come out of your $5000. If any is left over, subtract $30/mo. for every extra $1000 applied to CAP cost reduction.
What would the lease be for HSE sticker $108,040, 36 months, 12000 miles a year, tax 7.25% which needs to be paid up front, selling price $105,000, with $7000 total out of pocket? Thanks.

Tax does not "need" to be paid up front - you can choose to roll it into the cap cost and monthly payment.
That said, with the prices given, I get a payment of $1423/mo
Gonna assume selling price at same for now as it was a custom build and RR doesn't like to lower price from what I understand, also assume that keeps CAP cost the same?

So, not a huge difference in payment, but lower, which is nice.

Is this a good deal? They gave me 58% residual value at 12,000?
Thank you so much for your help while I try to make sense of all this.
What is the MSRP?
Since you're new to leasing, those big downpayments aren't really a good idea. They just mask the actual monthly cost of the vehicle. Pretty sure you could buy this vehicle for a lower average monthly outlay than this quote.

Trade equity is the same as cash down, so far as it affects the lease payment.

.00221 MF and 58% residual
I get $1072/mo.+tax with those numbers. I'll guess there is a huge money factor markup to get to $1450.
Also, just because you have equity, doesn't mean you have to put it all towards the lease. They can cut you a check for any excess (the $9343).

Thanks for your advice. I wasn't aware that they could give me a portion of the trade in back as check. That's good to know. On the earlier posts, I saw that the RV was upwards of 60% which I understand to be better when looking at leases. Just reading the Edmunds help page on lease. Looks like I can negotiate the MF. Not sure how some are getting higher RV when it's non-negotiable.

RV varies by trim level, term and mileage.
Regarding the MF, simply tell them you won't sign a deal unless you get the base MF. Don't tell them you know the rate.
Looking for MF and residual on Range Rover Sport 5.0 Supercharged Dynamic in Florida. 36/10 or 36/12. Open to whatever best term is. Also, any prepay MF discounts on lease or MSD programs? Thank you!

Possible to get the residual and money factor in Northern California for:
1) Range Rover HSE: 36K/10K, 39K/10K
2) Range Rover Supercharged: 36K/10K, 39K/10K
I wonder if anyone is getting any luck getting discounts off MSRP?
Discounts are hard to come by at most RR dealers, but a friend picked up a 2018 Discovery yesterday and was
able to get 5% off MSRP.

$93835 adjusted CAP

Be aware.. the CAP reduction reduces the payment, but it doesn't lower the residual/buyout amount.
