Hi, looking for regular money factor and MSD money factor (7) for 2019 440xdrive convertible, in 19046. Thank you.

    36/15
    .00188 and 54%
    $2500 lease credit

7 MSDs will reduce the MF to .00153
Thanks! Is it different for 36/10?

    Hello All,

Now looking at a 440 GC lease for 36/15 in Alabama. I would like to share a few numbers for someone to see what this is looking like so far.

    MSRP- 61,765.00
    Discount- 4,500.00
    Rebate- 4,500.00
    Adjusted price- 52,765.00
    DOC, tax and title- 871.00

This preliminary breakdown does not show me the MF rate, yet I was told it would be the base rate of .00188. I will be putting the max of 5 security deposits down on this as well, which should make the MF .00163, if my math is correct. The 5 security deposits are not shown anywhere yet, I just let them know that I will be using them. This will skew the numbers some.

I am shown a payment of 800.00/month with now money down.

Anything totally out of whack? I leased a slightly lower priced 435 GC 3 years ago for under 600.00/month, so this has me puzzled a little.

Thanks for all of the moderators time spent here answering all of our questions.

Pretty sure that max MSDs are seven, now, for a total of .00035 reduction?

What is the adjusted CAP cost?
Are you paying anything upfront, other than the first payment and security deposits?
What is your sales tax rate?

Residuals are a lot lower than they were three years ago. Roughly, the payment doesn't look too far out of bounds.. Depending on the answers to the questions above, it's definitely in the $750-$800 range.
Adjusted CAP cost appears to be 54,560.96. I’m sure you are correct on the MSDs, as I read somewhere today that they are now back up to 7 max.

The tax is not spelled out as a %, but the way the tax is figured it appears to be .0152, if this makes sense- Got this from my existing lease also.

I don’t plan on paying anything upfront, other than what is typically required (first payment, security deposits, etc.).

    Thanks for the help.
If that's the adjusted CAP, I get $732/mo.+tax.

No, your tax thing makes no sense. Sales tax rate is pretty simple. When you go to the store, what is the sales tax percentage you pay?
They told me it is 2.273%.

If it has 4999 miles or less, then a case can be made to lease it.

You'll want to target 12-15% off MSRP.

    What ZIP code?
What lease term and how many miles per year?

    Update-

I paid $2,140.00 upfront for the doc, title, acq and $500.00 additional down. $500.00 down was to get the security deposits under $700.00 each. Just my way of thinking on this. 7 security deposits were used.

Payment of $694.xx per month, which I think was a decent deal. They didn’t come off of the deal any further than my original numbers posted here.

    Thanks for the help.

I can't remember now which I was looking at for the odometer reading, so sorry. Do terms change on a 36/10? Also, are MSDs up to 7 still a thing?

    Thank you sir!

2019 430i Gran Coupe xDrive, 2/20k and 3/30k? Does residuals and MF make one more favorable than the other?

Also, I just turned in my lease without a hitch but dealer states they can only do 5 MSDs now, rather than 7 and it’s only because I’ve done it on the previous lease that I’d be allowed to do it at all. Is this the new rule or just their rule?

Oh, and also, what do you think a reasonable reduction from MSRP is to shoot for on this particular model? 10%? 15%?

I’ve been pretty fixated on getting another executive demo unit, but the discounts aren’t always that impressive anyway. Maybe new with a healthy reduction would be a better route?

    .00188 MF
    63%/57% residual for 24/36 mo

    What is your location?

The 5 X .00005 was the rule before January..
Now, it's back to 7 X .00005, and it's available to all lessees.

36 months is better, by far.

The only thing that makes demo/loaner leases better is a big, big discount by the dealer. That can happen. If the discounts aren't impressive on the loaners, they likely won't be that great on the new ones. Might need to find another dealer.

Thank you for the info. I’m in Northern California, Sacramento area. For the great lease deal I just turned in today, I travelled to Southern California and drove it home. Was only paying $267/mo for a 328i GT xDrive. Was kinda sad to let a deal like that go.

Is this the new rule or just their rule?
.00188 MF 63%/57% residual for 24/36 mo What is your location?
Yeah, those days are long gone. But, congrats on the new lease!
Oh sorry i wasn’t clear. I’m looking still to lease something else, preferably a 4 series GC with xDrive. Just need to look out for the best deal I can I guess.

Hi everyone! It's my first time leasing a car.
Could you please share the MF and residual value of 36mo/12k mileage in zip 94404?

    BTW I got a quote on a 2019 440i Coupe:
    MSRP: 61,235
    Sales Price: 51,985
    Rebates: 3,500/36mo
    Mileage: 10,000
    Cash due/monthly payment:
    1) 3,000/756
    2) 4,000/725
    3) 5,000/694

I didn't get the MF and residual value from the dealer, but it seems to me that the residual value is low consider paying 5000 + 694 * 36 = 29,984 and 29,984 / 61235 = 48.965%

    Any opinion could help! Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the info. I’m negotiating with the sales. But he said I left costs out of my lease. Not sure what he meant. I think I should use the total amount of 36 months payment and MSRP to evaluate the lease, right? Or should I compare the total payment to sales price? Still learning. Any tips could help. Thanks again! :)

If you aren't sure what he meant, you should ask him to clarify.
You want a complete breakdown of all of the numbers.

Payment and MSRP are useful, when comparing deals from competing dealers. But, you should understand what numbers resulted in that payment, before deciding if it's a good deal.

Hi, can you help on a 2019 440i GC? The dealership told me for 36/10 the MF is 0.00227, but I see here everyone says the MF is 0.00188. Any idea why I get this higher rate? My credit score is 800+ so it should not be any credit issue. I am in North California 95132 area. Thanks

They are marking up the rate for extra profit. BMWFS allows them to markup to .00228.

MSD is only allowed for previous MSD user. I do not have one before.

Hmm, the guy who took my turn in said the same thing last week but according to the moderator here, that’s no longer the case beginning February. Anyone can get up to 7 MSDs now. Can this be confirmed?

Have March numbers changed? Looking at 2019 430i, 36/12k. Heard that loyalty payment went down by $250. What about the MF? Zip code is 75248. Thanks!
