Hey guys,

I asked a dealer about a quote on a 440i M sport and he provided me with what seems like outrageous quotes. This will be my first lease but after a lot of research and using a lease calculator, his numbers make no sense. Im attaching a photo below.

Also, I'm aware of the marked up MF which I emailed him about. He said they will adjust it from .002 to .0017 after they see that I have good credit..

Let me know what you guys think. Based on my calculations with all the info he provided, my lease payment should be $751 without the outrageous 5k down.

I'd confirm the tax amount - NY taxes the sum of the payments. What is the tax rate?

In NY, we recommed you pay the taxes, the first payment and the registration costs up front. No $5K down, and add the doc and acquisition fees into the monthly payment.

I'm in the same payment neighborhood as you are, without the $5K

Also can you confirm the amount of the lease and loyalty credits, there is a dealer in SoCal that indicated that lease credits have gone up this week on the 4 series, it’s now $5250 for 440i and $4250 for 430i. Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm hoping to get some help, guidance and/or advice here ... but I know very little about MF, RV, etc. and how they work. I am hoping to just get some suggested numbers in terms of LEASE pricing (down payment and monthly). Current lease payments are $500/month. I'd like to pay no more than $500/month--but would love to get that down to $450-ish if possible--without a massive down payment.

I currently lease a 4218i Gran Coupe, and the lease ends in July. I'd like to stick with BMW and move over to a 2019 430i Gran Coupe (no major upgrades; just grey paint and possibly a convenience package). Here's what I received from my dealership:

What lease term and how many miles per year are you looking for?

BTW, MSRP less incentives is not a good deal, in my opinion.

Regarding my post yesterday and this "Account Notification" I received from my current BMW dealership:
-My zip code is 91604
-I am looking for a 36 month, 12K/year lease
-They didn't break this offer and set of incentives down into a monthly payment/down payment scenario
-Also, I'd like my walk-off costs to be less than $3-4K. My current monthly lease payment is $500. I don't want to pay a penny over that; if I can get my monthly down to $430-450, that would be ideal.

Big shocker here, but they just want me to physically get on to the car lot and speak with them, so they can push for a deal before May 31. I would love to continue leasing a BMW, essentially going from a 2016 428i Gran Coupe to the 2019 430i Gran Coupe.

Thanks for any info you can share. I really just want a sense of what my best, lowest monthly payment should be--so I can assess the dealership's offer versus the numbers I get from this forum.

For some reason, I don't find them quite as "pretty" or attractive as my 2016 model. I need to see the updated physical design closer, in person, but I understand BMW updated the bodies since 2016. Something about the front end shape and grill just looks a little less sexy in the pictures, but I could be wrong. Anyway, this is a whole other subject!!

You aren't going to get that information unless you show up at the dealer. That way, they know you're serious about this and may offer you their best price.

And, if you're on the fence about the looks, heading to the dealer will address those concerns, as well.

You control the conversation - just because you show up, doesn't mean you have to say yes. The word "no" is your friend.

Your drive off costs in CA should be just the first payment and DMV costs - maybe $1000-1500. Anything beyond that is a risk as the money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

If you're looking for a payment under $450/mo, you may need to adjust your budget, or perhaps find a loaner vehicle under 5000 miles.

You won't know unless you try. I've seen similar deals on other BMW models.

Your best bet is to find a loaner with under 5000 miles on it.

There is a difference between "down payment" and "due at signing" when it comes to a lease. You need to get clarity from your dealer before signing anything.
