    I got an updated quote:
    19 TLX V6 Tech FWD
    41,095.00
     Discount 7,827.26
     Rebate 1,300.00
     Adjusted Price 31,967.74
     Taxable Fees (Estimated) 199.00
     Doc Fee 789.00
     Tax 85.60
     Non Tax Fees 268.50
     Balance 33,309.84

$750 down payment. Monthly ,$473 including FL taxes.  36/15,k. He did take another$1k off to bring the payment down $25 lower from $498. Anymore room aside from the doc fee?

    Thanks guys.
.00084 MF and 47% residual $6725 incentive If I add the $595 acquisition fee, I get $450/mo.+tax. You are getting $9127 off MSRP $6725 incentive + $789 doc fee = $7514 Effective discount of $1613. $500-$1000 more off certainly seems possible.

Thanks for the input. I have a few dealers competing, the issue is the closer ones only want to match the dealer that is 60 miles away. The Accord Sport 2.0 is leasing for not much less than the V6 TLX tech. I'm seeing quotes in the low $400s Does this seem about right?

    May I have the MF(one pay/single pay lease), residual, and incentive numbers for a 2019 Acura TLX 3.5L V6 SH-AWD w/Technology Package 36/18k in 40511 ? Thanks!

We only have numbers up to 15K for residual.

    .00084 MF and 47% residual
    $6725 incentive
Wouldn't the MF be lower for a one pay?

.00004 for one-pay (or, .00005 if that is the minimum MF allowed by AFS)

Hi guys, I totaled my 2018 TLX Tech lease that I got in Feb 2018. I looked that the lease and none of the dealers are matching it for 2019 in Feb 2019. I had received a deal where the residual was like 70%, sale price was like 30,448 in TX. Same dealer is not matching it. Any comments/advice?

The programs are way different than they were a year ago.

    Unlikely to match your deal.

After walking away last week, I was now offered this deal...

    2019 Acura TLX A-Spec V6 SH-AWD for 12k/36mo

    MSRP: $45,795.00
    Selling Price: $39,020.74
    Govt Fee: $32.00
    Doc Fee: $235.00
    Residiual Value: $23,355.00
    Total Due at Signing: $750.00

    Monthly Payment: $536.83

They’ve shared that the money factor is .00084, and I know there’s $4,600 in incentives on this vehicle right now. Is this deal ok, or should I push them more?

    Thanks!

    Incentives are now $5900.

Which makes the effective discount less than $1000.

    From a few days ago.

    I got an updated quote:
    19 TLX V6 Tech FWD
    41,095.00
     Discount 7,827.26
     Rebate 1,300.00

     Taxable Fees (Estimated) 199.00
     Doc Fee 789.00
     Tax 85.60
     Non Tax Fees 268.50
     Balance 33,309.84

$750 down payment. Monthly ,$473 including FL taxes.  36/15,k. He did take another$1k off to bring the payment down $25 lower from $498. Anymore room aside from the doc fee?

Update today: the closer dealer said he can beat it by $500 from what's above from the dealer 60 miles away quoted, which is about $15 less per month $458. This is with turning in my current Accord lease with 2 payments left. I think this looks good. I still have to iron out how much down. I'm aiming for no more than first month.

Yeah, that doc fee is a killer.

Keep negotiating between the two dealers. Eventually one of them will say "uncle" and you can be pretty sure you've hit rock bottom on the price.

The one dealer said that's it that is 60 miles away. He was done. One of the two closer is done also. The one closer dealer that is left said that he'll beat their price by $500. I'll have to get the breakdown on the costs from the one guy left. Guaranteed they have a doc fee too. We'll see if they are workable on that. This negotiating started out at $580 with $0 down. It goes to show how hanging in there can get lower costs once you're set on a vehicle to target.I think it's getting near the last hundreds. I'll update. Thanks.

Went in today to look at 2.4 L Tech. The dealer would bot budge from $31,063 sale price plus $595 lease fees plus another $300 doc fees. He quoted payment with 0 down and 0.00084 MF but used a 50% RV. I walked out as he wasnt budging on price, but what I noticed later was also that his RV was 50% instead of 52%.

I am hoping to get another $1500 off for a sale price of $29,500. Rationale:

    Invoice + destination:$ 35,850
    Incentives: $5,400
    Net= $30,450

Is around $1k below invoice + destination too much to ask? Is that not realistic? Also can you please confirm if RV is 50% or 52%. I see A Spec as 52% above. Thanks

Thanks Michael. Are the incentives different between Tech and ASpec? I had seen folks comment on the "goodness" of the sale price and if there was any more room to bring price down. That is why I was asking if that sale price seemed reasonable.

Why bother with invoice minus incentives, if you think the dealer should give you a price lower than that? Not really understanding your "rationale" for the dealer to sell below cost?

Yes that is why I was asking if it makes sense. In the past I have purchased Civics a d Accords at price below invoice, but those could be different days. Right now CarGuru says that good price for 2.4 L with tech is 31,800 which is about 3k below invoice. May be I am confused, but wouldn't it make sense to expect the additional lease cash be applied on that sale price of 31,800? I am new to leasing and I may be looking at it completely wrong.

About to close this deal for a V6 w/ Tech package, 36 month, 10k miles. The numbers the dealer is using seem off to me, but the calculation seems in line if those are used.

    MSRP 41,095
Sales price 31,800 (did not separate from incentives)
Residual 52% (thought it was 50?)
    Tax 1908
    Processing 295
    Title, tag 279
    Monthly 422.98
    1st payment due at signing.

maybe not the greatest deal, but I am comfortable with it, so will probably close tomorrow. the lower sale price saves me on tax, greater residual lowers payment. am i on the hook for anything if there was some kind of error?

    50% for 36/10

If the wrong residual is used, the bank will kick the contract back to the dealer to be rewritten.

2% of the MSRP would add about $23/mo to the payment.

The base trim level V6, FWD, has a residual of 52%

    The V6 Tech A-Spec also has a 36/10 residual of 52%

I'd get clarity on the trim level you are signing up for, before signing anything.

They insisted they could match another offer I received, so I’ll insist they reduce the sales price accordingly or I go to the other offer. Thanks.

Back again after receiving a call out of the blue from a local dealer (south florida) trying to hit his numbers at month end. Offered a V6 Tech for $469/tax in with $469 due at signing with a selling price of $31,644. He did not yet give me the adjusted cap cost but comparing it to Sanman1's quote, it still seems a little but high. Would prefer the a-spec overall but dealer claims that is significantly more per month. What are the incentives for each? Thanks.

Edit - He offered the aspec for $507/tax in with $507 due at signing.

    Discount is $10,400
$36,759.40 appears to be adjusted cap cost.

    Just received these for a '19 2.4 w/ Tech TLX 36/12

    Dealer 1:

    2019 TLX Tech 2.4 FWD:

    MSRP: $37,695

    Your Price: $30,717

    Driveoff $999.71 for 12k mile = $409.94+Tax = $448.88 (tax included 9.5% LA County)

    With $2,500 down = $404.69 tax included

RV: 49% (is this correct-thought it was 50% or 51%)?

    Dealer 2:

    MSRP: $37,695
    Selling price: $30,800
    No money down
    MF: 0.00084
    439/mo

    RV: 18470

Have responded that I need a more detailed breakdown but haven't heard back. Thoughts? Thx!

The protection package is garbage, and is adding $40/mo or more to the payment.

The incentives on the V6 Tech are $6700, so the effective discount is $3700. Not sure if there is room to move on that, or not.

are actually for the a-spec ($508/month), not the tech. And I agree about the protection plan but they only have one vehicle in stock and it already had it so not much I can do about it.  Thanks for your help and insight.
