What is the latest (August) MF and residual for a 2019 Honda Odyssey EX-L 36/12? I'm told it's 0.0024 but I've seen a lot of mentions of .0022 on this thread. Has it changed now that we're in August, or is it just different for different trims (EX, EX-L, touring, etc.)?

Also, any chance the MF will be lower after Labor Day?

Thanks, @Michaell - very helpful. Is the $595 security deposit you're referring to the lease acquisition fee (also sometimes called the bank fee)? More generally, does this mean the MF changes depending on how much the initial down payment for the lease is?

There seems to be very little 2018 inventory left, at least in my area. Even larger dealers seem to have only a few. Does this make it more likely the 2019 MF will go down in September?

The security deposit is not $595. It's the payment, rounded up to the next $25 increment.
The lease acquisition fee is $595.

Money factor does not change with money upfront, as long as you make the first payment at signing.

Conveyance fee: 499

They gave me a MF of .00230

$504/month with $504 dive off cost.

Thoughts on MF not being 00220?

Standard MF deals are sort of weird. It's possible that they require a security deposit, which is fairly rare in leases any more. It's possible the bump was to cover a waiver of the security deposit.

Can someone shed some light on that - in terms of MF and residuals - and what that all means. If we were interested in buying it out at the end of the lease, what would we owe? The whole lease process slightly confuses me. What specific questions do you recommend I ask the salesperson?

If you amortize the amount you are putting upfront, over the term of the lease, the actual monthly cost is closer to $500/mo. That seems like a lot.

We planned to trade in and get 4500 from that, plus another 1000 down. So $5500 down total.

Yeah, I get that... It makes your total cost about $500/mo.

35 X $345 = $12075 + $5500 = $17575 / 36 = $488/mo. (so,not quite $500)
