    It's doubtful you would do better with an independent bank. By using a different bank, you'd give up the $2375 incentive. If there was a better deal available, the dealer would have access to it.

I had every intention of getting multiple final quotes, but once I showed them a competitor's quote, they agreed to the arbitrary payment amount I had asked for, so it's likely I got screwed. But the final deal was:

    thank you, my local dealer here is saying that there is no incentives and any incentive that we have is for honda or acura owners. Is there any way to show them on any official website?

    They gave the following deal in the start on Acura RDX A SPEC AWD but after negtiation they offer better price. I am giving both deals below.

    You get the $600 back. It's a no-brainer.

    And, it's not necessarily $600 (but, it might be)
    It's the monthly payment, rounded up to the next $25 increment.

    It is a refundable deposit.

    Currently, Davis in Langhorn and Sussman in Jenkintown seem to be most aggressive. They want to see my 2017 RDX for possible trade equity.

    And I'll say the same thing - you only want to pay the first payment and registration costs when you sign the contract. Anything else would be at risk for loss if the car is stolen or totaled.

    Does this sound like a good deal? 2019 Acura RDX w/Advance w following options: Canyon Bronze $400, body side molding $259, Crossbars $299, Roof rails $560, door edge guards $115, lower Bumper Trim front $329, Rear Bumper Applique $69, Remote Engine start $399, splash guard set, $145, Trailer Hitch $370, All season Floor Mats $175 and cargo cover $155. According to them total for accessories is is $2875 true car option is $2587.

    The destination charge is part of the MSRP - dealers who treat it as a separate number are being disingenuous.

    Your up front costs should be just the first payment and registration costs.

    Ask them for a quote with only $1000 due at signing - and make note of the adjusted cap cost they give you for that payment quote.

    Are the options you list part of the factory window sticker?

    The doc fee seems high, for NJ, and the "Security Guard" is pure profit for the dealer.

    The Acura RDX Advance 36/15k with $1000 down is a monthly payment of approximately 695 and the adjusted cap cost is -$405. If I put $3500 dawn the monthly payment is $778 and the adjusted cap cost is -3141. I'm not sure I really understand what the cap cost is? Please advise.

    I think you have that backwards. More money upfront = a lower payment.

    And, those numbers aren't the adjusted CAP cost. Maybe, the CAP cost reduction?

    In either case, those are terrible deals. Shop more dealers.

    Hello,

    Can I please get MF, Residual, and Incentives for Zip Code 77081?

    2019 Acura RDX SH-AWD w/Tech Package

    36/15k miles

    From reading many forums, it seems the most common MF has been stated as 0.0019 recently. I've read that you can not negotiate the Residual, but you could possibly negotiate the MF. Especially, if the current financing equivalent APR is lower. Currently, Acura (and Costco), is offering 2.9% APR, which equates to approx MF of 0.00121. Has this been an option in negotiations with Acura, or do they not typically entertain negotiating down the MF?
