Especially, if the current financing equivalent APR is lower. Currently, Acura (and Costco), is offering 2.9% APR, which equates to approx MF of 0.00121. Has this been an option in negotiations with Acura, or do they not typically entertain negotiating down the MF?

MSRP - 48395 (dealers mess this up. the acura website says 48495 for this configuration of the vehicle)

Most makes increase prices some time around January. If this unit was built before then, it could easily be $100 less.

Payment seems about right. I can't tell you what will happen next week.
Making a security deposit will bring the rate down to .00190, and save $7/mo.

I don't see any issues there. That's a low doc fee for NJ. Did you get it in PA?
It's a decent deal, considering the $1960 in negative equity.

Is 7.5K mi/yr enough? Just $11/mo. to move up to 10K/yr. That's cheap for 7500 more miles of driving.

I would make a security deposit upfront, to bring the rate down to .00190. That would save $7/mo, just for making a refundable security deposit of $475.

Yes, there are still finance charges on a single-pay lease.

The lease is calculated the same way, only with a lower money factor.
.00110 MF, in this case.

Calculate your payment with the lower money factor, then add up the payments for your single-pay total.

Financially is it wise to give up $475 to save $252 in interest? I understand you get it back. So really you are loaning them $475 for however long your lease is and they are reducing your interest cost $7 per month, which would be about 18% per year in a return. Does this make sense? Bcuz then it is quite worth putting the deposit down.

They are only giving you an extra $125 discount over their incentive, and then sticking you with an $800 doc fee.
It is a terrible deal. Effectively, you'd be paying over MSRP.
