i am close to closing on a 36/10 lease on a ‘19 RDX SHAWD Advance at NJ dealer. The MSRP was $46595 and selling price $41000, residual of $26445.  Only 1st payment due at closing. The lease is $653/month. Seems a bit high to me, any thoughts out there ?

Are the 2020 RDXs out yet? Acurs'a site lets me select 2019 or 2020, but I dont see a thread for 2020 RDX on here yet. Does anybody know if there is any difference between 2019 and 2020 models? My apologies for going off topic.

Good question, I’ll have to ask them the exact cap cost used. I didn’t include it, but their fees of $800 were rolled into the payments as well as NJ taxes of 6.625%. I think that’s it.

.00215 w/Security deposit. Security deposits are the amount of the payment, rounded up to the next $25 increment.

With the $3400 discount shown, the quote is essentially for MSRP.

Should be able to knock $1500 off that price, easily.

I only want to put down 1st payment and standard upfront tax and title but a quote I got from a dealer is lumping a $595 bank fee into that also. Other upfront fees they included were a $350 doc/DMV fee and tax on the down payment which seem to be what I should be paying upfront and not rolling into the cap cost.

I told them I was looking to get an RDX in next 3 weeks, contact the last dealer and said they were willing to take a loss to get the sale. Did all of the negotiating online and came in only to sign the paperwork and pick up the car.

So the $5500 includes the $3175 in incentives? OK, I will have to remember this. My RDX lease is up in 3 months. They are already bugging me to do a pull-ahead lease, but I feel I won't get my best deal that way. I would really like an A-SPEC but I'm sure I won't be able to afford the additional monthly cost.
