$3000 off, in addition to the incentive looks pretty good to me. Just three months ago, it was hard to get any discount, at all.

With only first + DMV due, the taxes and fees are going to be rolled in. Do you happen to know the adjusted cap cost?

Hi. I am shopping around for a new 2019 RDX lease and so far the dealers near me (Irvine 92614) have not been able to beat the "national loyalty ad". The offer details I received from one dealer so far is this: residual $22,653. MF .00225. MSRP $38,395. Car discounted price $33,627. They quoted me a lease payment of $379 per month for 36 months. 10K miles per year. $2999 due at signing plus drive off fees totaling $1200. And they agreed to pay my final 2 months due on my current CRV lease (about $550). What do you guys think? Is this a good deal? I am trying to negotiate further between these dealerships. If all goes well I might end up buying this car at the end of the lease too. Thanks so much!

The Acura lease program is national. So, any numbers you see since May 1st will apply to you, as well.

Why lease now, if the dealer has to cover two payments? That is $550 you are throwing away.

Those don't really look like offers; more like national or regional advertisements.

A few things to note:

1. In CA, you only want to pay the first payment and DMV when you sign the papers. Anything above that is at risk for loss if the car is stolen or totaled.
2. I'd be leery of any dealer willing to "cover" your last two payments on your current lease; often, they simply end up into the new contract and you pay them anyway, except for 36 months. And, you don't get the use of your CR-V.

I doubt the programs will change substantially between now and August, so don't let the dealer 'pressure' you into signing a new deal.

They quoted selling price of $41,605.98 before incentive on MSRP of $43,795. MF of 0.00225.
I asked them why they had marked up the MF from base of 0.00215 and they said 0.00215 is available with security deposit (is it true?) The residual is 54% for 36/15 ($23.541.30).
They said with lease signing amount of $4500 my monthly payment would be $520.
What do you guys think about this deal?

I asked them and they didnt give me those details. In fact when i asked them what exactly $4500 consists of, their answer was "All your taxes and fees required for this lease", which didnt make me feel comfortable. I was hoping to get detailed numbers or at least hear that it consists of some down payment, because $4500 in just taxes and fees without any down payment is just too high a number based on my numbers. I have been dealing with them thru email so far but they want me to visit the dealership in person. I am hesitant to do that.

The .00225 is the correct MF if you don't pay a security deposit or not an existing Acura customer.

Dealer cannot alter the residual value; it is set by the bank, and is calculated off the MSRP, not the selling price.

With a $3175 Acura-to-dealer incentive, I'd want a bigger discount than $4065.
$890 off of a $38K car isn't that great.

But, competitive shopping is the way to a better deal, so you are on the right track.

So I visited an Acura dealer today after negotiating preliminary price via emails.
Here is a deal they offered -
2019 Acura RDX SH-AWD base
MSRP - $40395
Incentive - $3175
Dealer discount - $2619
Selling price - $34601
RV 56% for 36/15k
Monthly $564 (zero down lease). They also offered to cover the $564 for the first month, so spreading that $564 over the remaining 35 months the monthly price would be $548.33
The taxes and fees if I remember correctly were approximately $2500 (NJ tax, acquisition fee, doc fee, DMV, tire etc etc).

How does this deal sound?
