If you pay the tax upfront, and something happens to the car, your lease is paid off, but you can't get that sales tax back. Better to roll it into the CAP cost.

The residual is calculated against the MSRP - bottom number of the factory window sticker.

You're only at 8.3% discount pre-incentive. I'd try to get another $1200 to get 10% discount. Also, if you own or lease any car then you can take $750 conquest incentive instead of $1150 CSP which is better because then you're eligible for $1000 rebate from BMWCCA at the cost of $134 for 3 year membership.

I got 9.4% discount on custom order of 2020MY, so 10% to take a car off the lot should definitely be doable.

The dealer could only offer 8% off MSRP. I contacted multiple large volume dealers and couldn't get any better for a custom build X5. MSRP was initially 75000 and I got it for 68000. My monthly payment is estimated around 1000 a month. What do you guys think about that deal? I got a lot of options on the car so it's making my monthly pretty high, but it's the car exactly how I want it.
