So i'm trying to finalize a Custom Order, which makes for a hard negotiating position. Right now i'm looking at a 36 month/12k miles lease for 2019 X5 5.0.

MSRP (with destination fee): $90435
Selling Price: $85,877 (they are discounting $4468)
Total Rebates: $1750 (March into spring and one other thing)
Res 58%, MF .00217

with 5k cap cost reduction its $1261. They claim that coming down to base rate would put them in the red, which seems weird but not sure what the overhead is for custom order and prep.

Yeah i told them the base rate was .00177/58% - there was no disagreement, just a refusal to move. i've never ordered before so that dynamic is new to me.

well you are right. went to the other dealership in town and they didn't even balk at using that MF with the same deal. Heck, i didn't even do a "the other guy said this" - they just went with it without me mentioning competition. saved real money - thank you!!

Has anyone had success negotiating a great deal in Southern California? I'm looking for an X5 custom build and can't seem to get anyone to over 8% off MSRP + the 3250 in rebates. If you have and can share contact info that would be great. Based on what I'm seeing it looks like 10% is where I want to be.

How is it $3250 rebates?. Am I missing something?. If you find somebody who does 10% plus rebates. Send me his info. So far I couldn’t find more than 8%. But I read some people get 10%+. Thanks. Custom build too 74k msrp. Any sales rep who’s reading 11% off msrp plus rebates I will order the car today (74k) send us a contact.

Just submitted my custom build, thanks to this forum I was able to get an exceptional deal. I ended up getting 10% off MSRP on a purchase + 2k bmw financial rebate + 1250 Loyalty + hopefully 1k CCA. This is for Socal, best of luck to all.

First time poster. I have a 2016 RX 350 lease in Texas coming up in July. Test drove the ‘19 X5 and love it! I’m curious to get anyone’s take on how incentives might look over the summer before my lease ends. Is it fair to assume they’ll get better?

But, fully expect a big jump in the payment as compared to your Lexus. Just warning you ….

The Infiniti QX60 is pretty cheap, if you like that sort of thing. Or, the Acura MDX
