That's a good quote, for just first payment due. I agree with the math.

Selling price is high. You probably could get that down another 2 - 3K. Don't forget the flex cash of 1500

so there is lease cash of $3525 off the MSRP and another $1500 of Flex Cash? How does Flex Cash work? My Dealer is saying they have a limited number of deals for this - true or false? Thanks!

Like you, I am considering leasing the 2019 MDX SH AWD w/ Tech. YES, there is lease cash but the dealer gets that and its up to them how much of that we receive. There is only so much Flex Cash available per dealer so that part is true. Once its gone you'll have to go to another dealer who may or may not have it. It works just like a rebate. Don't get mixed up in the numbers. I had a dealer try that last Friday. When I arrived to finalize my deal with a "sale price" of 44K things changed. This dealer changed the price to 47K less the flex cash and less my 1500 down payment. Sure it sounded reasonable but I knew better. I ended up walking out on that deal because I have other offers from 44,400 - 45,000 before flex cash. Best of luck.

In pull ahead program, Acura will waive 3 payments, lease cash covers the remaining 2, being offered a new 2019 AWD Tech with just first payment down ($550) which was the same payment of the 2016. That's a good explanation of flex cash - it's discretionary, and it's limited supply.

With only the first payment due at signing, I'd say that you have a pretty good offer in front of you.

I would, however, suggest you ask the dealer for the CAP cost used for their quote, and what specifically they added to the selling price. Would be good to know if they tried to slip in any junk fees that are jacking up the payment.

Thanks for the feedback! Good suggestion. Can you tell me exactly what would be considered a junk fee? (Just so I know what to look for specifically). I didn’t notice anything particular on the work up sheet that seemed odd outside of regular fees etc...but I’d be interested to know if I may be missing something. This would be just first payment down though. No extra fees etc.

Another one quoted $471 for the same. I don't know if they are trying to lure me in or it is just a good deal. I will update later. Fingers crossed.

You shouldn't have to "guess" at the selling price - you should ask for (or demand) it from the dealer.

Nothing is there that doesn’t seem to make sense. Only thing I should have mentioned is that there are 2 payments of $550 being buried in some of the lease or extra dealer cash and also included is the extra tire coverage which is almost a must and I get it on every car and it has saved me $$ over the years due to having terrible pot holes on our roads.

Payment looks about right, if I deduct the $1500 from Acura from the CAP.

There is an Acura-to-dealer incentive of $3525 on this model, which makes your effective discount $3081.
That's around 5%, which is average, I'd say. But, they are giving you the $1500 from Acura, which is optional for them (it's not tied specifically to this vehicle), which helps a lot.

Nothing wrong with that deal.

I get $509/mo with those numbers.

Something seems way off on the dealer quote - I'd reconfirm the cap cost the dealer is using. $9K seems like an awfully big discount on a new 2019.
