    ok, thank you!

My wife is choosing between this c300, and a Lincoln MKC. (I'm going to ask MF and res in that forum.)

    2019 MB C300 sedan - 12k/36mo
    MSRP $52400
selling price $45030 (includes all incentives/rebates. I think that's about 14% off MSRP?)
    Doc fee $395
    Acquisition fee $795

We also owe payments on our current car that will be rolled in - total $1729

right now, we're at $572/mo with $1200 out the door $.

I think that is a great starting point on their end, but was hoping for an even $550 with the payments rolled in. Too unrealistic? am I way off and getting hosed?

Thank you to anyone that reads and/or comments. Any help is appreciated, as I am a very bad negotiator!!!

Why are you ending your current lease early? That $1700 is adding close to $50/mo to the payment. Waiting a few months should allow you to achieve the $550/mo target you want.

we started looking now since we have time to decide. then, they offer 14% off MSRP, with the numbers above, so we're tempted. we definitely don't have to jump, but we figure, if we can get $550 now, including the rollover, it's decent. I am such a new-b with leases that I don't know what to expect with monthly prices so I get a good deal. On the same MSRP car, do people realistically get mid to upper $400 range monthly payments with $1200 out of pocket? I honestly don't know...

We don't track deals; feel free to read back through the last few pages to see what others have got.

But, given the numbers you've provided, backing out the negative equity should take your payment to around $500/mo

I got a deal on the table but I think they are raising the MF to balance out the discount. Thoughts? I think they raised it 1.5-2% to balance out the hefty discount.

    MSRP: 71,000
    Selling Price: 61,230
    Terms: 48/10K
    Sales Tax: 3%
    Doc Fees: 275
    Acq Fee: 795
    Registration: 100 (average)
MF: Unknown (Figured out its .00231)
DAS: $2100 to cover First's Months, Registration, Docs, Acq Fees
Monthly: 686.99 (Their Price) but with correct MF, should be around $625 a month

Tell them you won't sign a deal unless you get the base MF; be interesting to see how much of the discount they want back.

They said we are giving employee discount and need to be at .00195, which still doesn't add up for me. This is for a C43 Sedan.

    Also,
Do you know if you can add Fleet Program to "employee discount"

Yup. They said they need to make money somewhere so we declined the deal. We finalized the deal with the [non-permissible content removed] dealers and they said they will be paying for our first month's payment now and few accessories for dropping the ball. I will post up once we pick up the car

Hi all - need some advice here. I have a build allocation from my local MB dealer and we're getting the process started; however, what are my options in terms of locking in monthly RV/MF programming during a new car build? The dealer is telling me I cannot lock in Jan programming and will need to take whatever programming is available upon delivery. This is not how I recall BMW working during my build process and it seems illogical that someone would just "wing it" and hope for the best. Thanks in advance for any sound advice and direction.

I believe that is correct for MB - you must use the program numbers that are in place when the vehicle is delivered.

BMW does give you the choice of using the program numbers either when the order is placed or when the vehicle is delivered, whichever is more advantageous to you.

No real advice to offer - either you place the order, or you don't.

    C43 Sedan

42 month residuals are just 3% lower than 36 months, so yes, the payment should be lower.
And, yes, you get 12K mi/yr, so 42K miles on a 42 month lease.

    ok, thank you!

Dealer is playing on your excitement to get a new car early by offering to roll the remaining pmts on current car. I think it’s a bad move.

They aren’t giving you anything, you are paying that $1729 anyway. Like leasing 2 cars at the same time, but only having one to drive. If they didn’t have that in the deal, there would be $1729 more discount to give you.

    Hi All,
How maintenance fee is added to the price?
Add to MSRP or Selling Price?

and How maintenance fee affect the monthly payment?
For example, if the fee is $720, each month increase $20 monthly payment?

    We aren't entirely sure.

We've had some folks report that the maintenance costs are added to the MSRP, which then allows them to be subjected to the residual (which is good for you).

    But, we can't confirm that.
    Here is my situation.
    1) Without Maintenance.
    MSRP: 46435
    Discount: 8160
    Acquisition fee: 1095
    MF: 0.00013 after 10 MSD (Total $4,500)
Drive off around $5,500 (Between $5,450 to $5550, including the $4,500 MSD)
    Residual: around 26900

Monthly payment: $390 included 9.5% tax.

    2) With Maintenance, $885 for 2 services.
    MSRP: 46435
    Discount: 8160
    Acquisition fee: 1095
    MF: 0.00013 after 10 MSD (Total $4,500)
Drive off: $6,020, (Including MSD $4,500, so $1,520 down), don't know why the Finance Department increase around $500 downpayment.
    Residual: 27380

540 capitalized cost reduction because of the $500 increasing in downpayment.
And the Maintenance was added to the Gross Capitalized Cost.
Monthly Payment: $380 included 9.5% tax.

In the 2) situation, I pay extra $500 downpay, but the monthly fee become $10 less and also included the maintenance.
Sorry-hit “post” by accident before adding comment. Are people really getting this big a discount on these C sedans? This is about 17.5% off! I also saw someone else mention 12% off +/-. I am finding it hard to believe there is that much margin (17).

Thanks for the response. I told them to take the old lease out of the equation and we'll just have the extra car for the 3 months. With that, the lowest they would go down to was 1300 out of pocket and 510 a month. I don't think that was a good deal at all so we declined. I wound up finding a nicer car for slightly more, but they said it's sold. Will continue to look, but I don't think they are excited to deal with me anymore....
