We are all on here to try to be smarter shoppers. The thing I can’t tell yet is what discount to go for. Is 14% what is being gotten? (I don’t know)

In the deal you mentioned, without factoring in the interest, taking out $1729 should have dropped your payment $48.

Once I know what the target discount is, I run my own payment calculation using the res and MF gotten here and get the payment amount, which needs to match what the dealer is telling me. They frequently bump the money factor hoping you won’t notice.

I just ran the TMV and it is showing about 10% discount on a C300 sedan. If that is right, surprised to see people mentioning 14-17% off.

When we get the new program numbers, incentives often aren't updated until a few days into the month.

In CA, you only pay tax on the calculated monthly payment - those prices look like they are for a purchase.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted CAP cost used for their payment quote.

MF is bumped up a tad - base MF is .00183 this month.
