    Working on deal for 2020 MDX. Dealer keeps changing residual percentage based on discount. They offer .00069 MF with 7650 discount but 53% res, then offers steeper discount 9700 with 55% res but .00215 MF, and the latter comes out worse.

    Do dealers play with Res or is that set by Acura, it's pissing me off lol?

    Looking for info on dealer incentive, res, and MF for

    Money factors and incentives are linked, however.

    Either model.

    If they show you a 55% residual for 36/12, then that is a base model.

    If there is a $4450 incentive, you certainly want a discount that is bigger than the incentive. Otherwise, you are effectively paying full MSRP.

    Hi can I get the MF/Residual/Incentive for 10k miles 36 months on the 2020 MDX FWD Tech. Zip is 90275?
    Note dealer said multiple offers are available and mentioned:
    1). MF .00215 w/ $8000 incentive, 54% residual
    2). MF .00069 w/ $4400 incentive, 54% residual
    He said the 1st one was slightly better which it appears to be.

    Hi - can you tell me the MF and residual for 2020 MDX advanced for 36 months at 18K miles per year? Also, MSRP is $59,275 and they are quoting a sale price of $53,000. Feels like there is another $1-2K sales price reduction negotiation needed to get more in line with what others are paying, agree?

    While I agree that the residual is 55% for 36/12, the base MF is .00215.

    Reasons why the quoted MF is higher than the base rate:

    Many thanks again. We are already charged $620 in taxes in the numbers I provided. So how much additional tax per month on top of the $361/mo? Our county is 8 percent.

    Thank you. So to close the loop on this, dealer wants $430/mo - I should be paying $369/mo, so a difference of about $2500. So sounds like I am overpaying by $2500 at present?? This is 12k miles per year.

    For starters, I don't see the $595 acquisition fee in your quote.

    You should ask the dealer for the actual Adjusted CAP Cost.
    Then see how that compares to their "balance".

    Something to keep in mind:
    $430/mo, with just first payment Due at Signing is a pretty good lease payment for a $45,500 MSRP vehicle at 36/12.

    Thanks - that is a good point. I think I will ask him to come down $1000 to $402/mo which will make me very pleased.

    Thank you Michael - I offered the dealer $50,100 based on 59,275 MSRP. He is telling me he cant sell the car below 52,000 and still maintain a MF of .00069 (1.6%) with the leasing program (36 months 15K per year). Is that true? My zip code is 07430. Only leverage he has is is he has the interior color my wife really wants, but he doesn't know that.
