yes there was post on leasehackr forum who from Texas got his lease credit back into the deal.

yes that was me that posted the deal on leasehackr. I got maybe 20 people private messaging me asking for dealer and i told them dealer told me they would not replicate the same deal again. It was to move a unit out and that was it.

I got partial tax credits (almost full). They would not do full tax credits. LR financial gets VERY limited tax credits in dollars to use in Texas in a given month to dealers...same as volvo in my experience. They get used up fast...from a dealers perspective they dont want to apply all of it on one deal...to help deals out they want to offer it to many deals to sell more unit and help every one out. Obviously i wanted to be greedy and wantedthe best deal so i was trying to negotiate to getting all of it on my deal so i didnt have to pay a penny of it. lol I could have waited to last week or day of the month to do the deal but instead i didnt want to risk losing out on tax credits which is why i did my deal 1st week Nov. In theory, if you get full tax credits (or find a dealer willing to give it all), buy rate MF (especially if its very very low), all dealer lease cash, and work to getting a 14%-16% discount from MSRP pre-incentives, thats a hell of a deal.

They marked up my MF from 0.00001 to 0.0001, gave me $1350cash rolled into the deal, and then discounted car like $8500, gave me tax credits where i was assessed 1.66% of the sales price (instead of the 6.25%) which came out to about $900, 1.5% L&M fee (every captive bank charges some L&M fee when a tax credit is applied on a deal). nd then the bogus $1000 in dealer adds which they wouldnt discount or take off so best anyone can do in that situation is ask for more discount of the selling price.

$65K MSRP P250 R-dynamic EIger gray/black interior
$1500 due at signing including 1st payment
Everything else rolled into the deal
36/10K miles
$599/month

In my books this is somewhere between a fair-good deal overall.
