    Hello everyone.
    - I’m looking for money factor, residual value, and lease incentives for a 2020 BMW X3 xDrive30i, 24/10k and 36mo/10k
    - Zip code is 60657.
    - Any guidance on how much to negotiate off the MSRP would be appreciated - the current MSRP with the premium package is ~$49k
    - should I take any manufacturer rebate off before or after the discount mentioned?

Thanks in advance - this will hopefully be my first BMW

    .00118 and 61% / 57%
$500 lease credit; applied after the negotiated price is agreed on

Look here for help with pricing:

    Thanks Michaell

    - could you please share the same with max MSDs?
    - in some of the earlier threads (2 pages earlier) you were suggesting to ask for a 15-18% discount. Is that for a loaner?

    Thanks again

    .00083 MF with 7 MSDs

Yes, 15%-18% is for a loaner
Thanks. Two quick follow-ups on the demo car option (sorry if this has been answered earlier, couldn't find it)

If I am looking at a leasing demo with 2k mileage (hypothetical example) for a 2 year / 10k option:
    1) How is the residual calculated
    a) is it calculated as % of the MSRP as if the car is brand new
    b) is there a further reduction on RV to take into account the 2k mileage?
    c) do they just apply the 61% on the final negotiated price

    2) If am I going for a 2 year/10k lease option, do I get the 20k (over two years) on top of the 2k mileage? Or do I only get 18k?

    Thanks
    1)
    a) Yes
    b) Yes, reduction of $0.25/mile
    c) No

    2) Yes.. 20K miles, in addition to the current odometer reading.

24 mo vs. 36 mo delta on residuals is just 4%. It will be a rare deal, where the 24 month term is viable.

    Marked up money factor

What is the term and mileage allowance?
    (58% residual seems inaccurate)

Does the discount include incentives (lease credit, conquest, etc)?
How many miles on the demo?

Price with taxes and fees looks like a price for purchase. FL taxes the monthly payment on a lease. The number you need is the adjusted CAP cost.

    36MO/7500 miles /year

I believe they said conquest... no loyalty .. as we are moving from Audi

What is a realistic MF to ask for? (they said base was .00118)

    Miles are 1993

Asking the dealership for the adjusted cap cost now.. thanks for your help. What do you think should be a good deal for this car?

.00118 is the base MF, and the one you should ask for.

Residual is adjusted downward to account for the current mileage ($0.25/mile)

15%-18% off MSRP on a loaner. (another $1000-$2000 more off)
Plus another $800 off to counteract the doc fee.

Ignore the sales tax number, as FL taxes the monthly payment.

Plus add $925 for lease acquisition fee.

Hi there! What's the best lease offer, MF, Residual value, Cap cost for a base X3 in 10128 please? Thanks! health care professional. Not sure if BMW is offering anything there. I've been quoted between $548 to $580/mo across dealers. Don't look like good deals. Thanks!

    Which engine?
    What is your ZIP code?
What lease term and how many miles per year?

On the quote(s), what's the MSRP? Negotiated selling price? How much is due at signing?

Thanks. I am looking at at demo with MSRP of $50995 with 1004 miles (zip code 60657).

    1) Therefore is the following math correct:
    Expected discounted price = $50995 x 0.82 = $41816 (assuming18% discount)
    Price after rebates = $41816 - 750 = $41066
On top of this, I have to add lease acquisition fee ($950) and tax.
Is that the right way to think about it?

    2) One of my local dealer is talking about this offer for X3
Dealer Allowance: $2,500 Cash Back On Select BMW Models When Financing Through BMW Financial Services.

Can that be applied on a lease?

    3) Some sites are talking about BMW FS waiving three months of payments as COVID deal. Is that true for leases and available for all zip codes?

Thanks for your help and patience

    2) One dealer is offering a 2019 X3 for 26% (likely with all rebates) off an MSRP of $49k with 5k miles. It seemed like a good deal from the discount perspective, but given that it is 2019, does that seem like a good discount?

    1. What are dealers countering with, as a discount? As a demo, you should get a bigger discount than on a new car.
    2. If the car has more than 5000 miles on it, the residual drops 7% and there are no incentives. The big discount will be needed to make up for that.

    1) Yes, but acquisition fee is $925
    2) I don't think that dealer allowance is valid with the lease program.
    3) We've heard two payments, up to $500 each (but, we don't have the documentation)
    1) Currently, I am finding that 2020 X3 demo cars have mileage in the 1k-2k range. I am having a limited success in getting a 15-18% discount. With 1k-2k, do you still recomend pushing for that range of discount?
    2) One dealer is offering a 2019 X3 for 26% (likely with all rebates) off an MSRP of $49k with 5k miles. It seemed like a good deal from the discount perspective, but given that it is 2019, does that seem like a good discount?
    1. What are dealers countering with, as a discount? As a demo, you should get a bigger discount than on a new car.
    2. If the car has more than 5000 miles on it, the residual drops 7% and there are no incentives. The big discount will be needed to make up for that.
    1) Two of them came around 10% before rebates which is nearly the same as new car. I will try pushing harder tomorrow
    2) Car has 4825 miles, but I will ask them to price out the lease including the residual value and bring that back to you.

    Hi,

    1) Could you please advise me if this a good deal:
    2) Is the residual calculated correctly?
    3) The MF is not 0.00118. He is claiming that because it is a 2019 vehicle, thats why it is higher. UPDATE - He has agreed to a MF 0.00118. Is that ok for 2019 vehicle?

    Thanks in advance

    @Lilg

    1) The lower document is still using the marked up money factor
With the base MF, the price should be $487/mo+tax, not $515/mo+tax
    2) Yes, the residual is calculated correctly
    3) Guess the salesperson wasn't telling you the truth, until the update.

Being in the city of Chicago is painful. If you were outside the city, you wouldn't have the extra $46/mo. in tax.

    2) Overall do you think the deal is good? Or should I push more?
    - my math tells me 18% discount followed by a $1500 rebate and using base MF

Thanks a ton for your patience

    2) Overall do you think the deal is good? Or should I push more?
    - my math tells me 18% discount followed by a $1500 rebate and using base MF

Thanks a ton for your patience
    1) That makes sense
    2) I think it's pretty good. Nothing you can do about the onerous taxes in Chicago, except buy the vehicle.
Picked up the car on Saturday.

@kyfdx @Michaell thank you very much from a first-time BMW owner. You have been incredibly helpful

    @Lilg

    1) The lower document is still using the marked up money factor
With the base MF, the price should be $487/mo+tax, not $515/mo+tax
    2) Yes, the residual is calculated correctly
    3) Guess the salesperson wasn't telling you the truth, until the update.

Thanks for the response. I have a dealer trying to push 56% here on a brand new 2020 X3. It is BMW Manhattan, a corporate dealership. Can they play around with this number at all or should it be standard at 57%? Everything else (discount to MSRP over 10%, base MF, and $1750 credits) looks good. I don't qualify for corporate, loyalty, conquest, so think it's a decent deal overall, but the 57% would make it even better.
