Hello all! I need advice. I emailed a dealership stating what I thought were the MF, residual factors and so on and so forth. Then I made an offer that I would be willing to work with a specific cap cost. The sales manager emailed me back making some adjustments and then asked what is the sales tax rate for my county along with how much they own the vehicle for. I don't plan to do all of this negotiating online but I just wanted to get the ball rolling. How do I move on from here. The price that he stated regarding what they own the vehicle for is probably the dealer's invoice and is he suggesting my cap cost is too low?

Work with multiple dealers at the same time - eventually, all but one will drop out due to pricing, and the one that's left is your winner.
