Thank you for the info! A more general question - has Subaru's historically strong resale value started to take a dip in recent years? I ask because I'm looking back at my 2017 paperwork and basicaly the same vehicle in January of 2017 had an RV of .63. That change alone is going to make my monthly quite a bit worse. Are there any comparable vehicles that lease much better due to high RVs that I would be foolish to not consider?

Residuals in previous years were unrealistically high. Good for you, bad for Subaru bank, when those vehicles come off lease.

I was trying to negotiate a deal on Subaru Outback Premium, model 13 today, with MSRP of $32,543, 36mo/15k, zero down, zip=11784.

After a few attempts, the dealer proposed $399 per month, and I have to pay first month+document fee of $75+DMV on delivery.

He didn’t let me know the sale price, but it seems like they capped it at $31,000.

Is this a reasonable deal? Thank you!

Right, I also get $369/month before taxes, and with NY taxes it becomes $402/month. Am I right in my calculations?

If so, is $1,500 reduction to MSRP a reasonable one? Or I should try for a larger one?

How much of dealer discount can I expect on Onyx XT ? I am getting just 1500$ as dealer discount on MSRP with Onyx quoted for MSRP 37895 (with dealer discount). I am not sure if this is a good deal ? Appreciate any inputs.

Signing tomorrow for 35 payments of $399 including tax with $0 due at signing on the Limited for 36/12. MSRP roughly $37,500. Subaru put additional loyalty incentives for Outback lesees about a week ago which helped. Thanks for the help!
