The incentives are Honda to dealer, so that would be reflected in the discount.

What about sales tax? Paying it upfront, or rolling it into the lease?

To properly evaluate the deal, you should know the exact amount that is Due at Signing, and what it includes. Also, the exact amount of the adjusted CAP cost, and what that includes.

Missing those details is where good deals go to die.

They have offered sales price of $38157, MF 0.00059 RV 59%, and $1000 incentive(loyalty) for a one pay lease, Other costs listed ($55 reg/plate transfer and $220 doc/processing fees) based on $430 per month, Total payment $15480. I forgot to write down the numbers for the traditional lease, but in looking at most of the numbers here, it was higher MF/interest rates and they gave me a quoted monthly payment of $494, zero down.

The accessories are what hurts the deal - you pay for 100% of the cost of them during the lease term. Ask how much those accessories are costing you.
