I have a question regarding the Road Home Sales Event that just started.The event advertises a $3500 credit on the 2021 X5. It's not clear whether or not the credit can be used towars a new lease through BMW FS,

Can you tell me if the $3500 credit can be used towards a new lease?

So, 4% off, but with a marked up money factor.

You should expand your search radius. These offers are weak.

I recently got a quote for a X5 s40 at 36 months and 12K per year. The MSRP was $66,959. I was told the dealer gives great deals to employees of the company I work for and also eligible for fleet. The monthly was $991.00 a month with $1,000 down. There was mention of money factor. They took discount of MRSP. When I do a lease deal, I figure out invoice, then subtract discount and rebates, subtract dealer fee/ doc fee, subtract any addition mark up of acquisition fee, and work my way up from this. If a dealer gives me an absurd price, I politely tell them I would be an idiot to do this tell.

Cant discount the vehicle that much (10%). We have a 5% markup without incentives + shop cost for PDI. As for the money factor. We are quoting you the best money factor that is being offered currently.

Have you shopped multiple dealers? Only way to know if you're at the bottom, price-wise.

For a limited edition vehicle like the X5M, that may be the best you can do.

@abhiku, I don't think that's realistically possible. Currently, the BMW-to-dealer incentives are $2,500. Depending on how loaded the car is, you're looking at an MSRP that is 8-8.5% marked up over invoice. To get to 11-12% off, dealer has to sell the car near or below cost...

Of course, you can get that if you are going after a loaner / demo car.

Got several quotes from dealers ranging from 10% - 11%. Highest being 11% off MSRP before any rebates but their MF was markup to 0.00122. I told them I will do the deal at buy rate and they are not budging.

The dealer with 10% on the other hand, do everything on the buy rate, all December incentive will be apply after I lock Dec rates.
