Down payment doesn't change the overall cost of the lease. And, that up front money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

Considering a 22 Outback onyx to buy but with all of the Market Value Adjustment, don't know what is even possible to consider. Having RV/MF is great but hoped to hear the story "went into my dealer at ..... got this negotiated that" Is the world of car buying changed from last I looked? Thx

Adjusted CAP?

No point in trying to figure out why... make them tell you.
