I just found out something interesting regarding leases in NY.
NY residents can get around the MSD prohibition by leasing in another state.. The signing of the lease and delivery MUST occur out-of-state. I guess its worth it to go to NJ or CT now.
FYI - BMW is raising its aquisition fee from $795 (with the dealer allowed to mark it up $200 to $995) to $925 as of August 1, 2015. I don't believe that the dealers are going to be allowed to mark it up after August 1st.

Have to keep an eye out on the numbers we get next month to see if that happens or not.

Pretty sure the acquisition fee was raised as of January 1st. Might be a special case in NY. Elsewhere, they still allow the full $200 markup to $995
I plan to lease a 528xi with PP. Using Edmunds True Market value it gave the price actually *much* lower than invoice. Why is that? What's the factor here and do I still need negociate?
Have you gone to a dealer for a quote yet? You can get a car under invoice since there is a $1,500 build out credis and it's the end of the model year. Don't you want a rear view camera or park distance control?
I have not yet. But take a look on above sheet, the TMV is lower than the invoice even before the 1500 credit applied! so is there any other hidden credit we don't know yet? moderator?

Pretty sure that the TMV is with the incentive already included.. (but, I haven't checked it, and am not a party to their data and algorithms).
Heading to the dealer in the morning, what's the current MF and RV on a 2015 550 36/15? Any promotions going on? Also, just a shot in the dark, but any possibility of getting the same for 2015 M3, 2015 740 (i and Li)? I'm looking to stay under $900/m, no money down and I'd also be doing pull ahead on current 2013 335... any advice on which of the above may be the better deal?

Thanks guys. How about on a 2015 535i 15/30 or 15/36? MF and RV. Same program?
Also, how do I work the build out cash into the equation? Is it considered a cap cost reduction?
You may want to wait until tomorrow if you plan to lease. BMW may give the dealers additional incentives on certain models whereby the dealer "buys" the car for a discounted rate. The dealers refer to it as "punching" a car. Most buyers are unaware of this process. Some cars may already be "punched" from a prior months. The warranty runs from the punch date but it typically doesn't impact a lease since the leases are up before the warranty expires.
Based on the limited info I have, BMW last asked dealers to punch the 5 series at the end on May. I am keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow!

My bad. If they do it, they typically do it on the last day of the month.
It's last day of the month. The 1500 credit expires today. Do you have any suggestions that I rush to dealer or tomorrow there will be another set of incentive? Dealer told me that the 2016 will roll out next month, assuming that the build out credit no longer applies? Any suggestions? Thanks.
I don't have the net cap cost and the breakdown of the $2000 is first month, bank, and registration. So I guess what I'm asking is with that taken into account is this a sane deal if you were to work the deal knowing what we know the MF and RV to be as posted above.

7 MSDS @ $600 each = $4,200.00 (effective money factor 0.00081) First Month Payment 597.89 Inception Fees paid at 1,714.68 Total Due at Delivery 6,594.75 (includes $4,200.00 MSDs which I get back)
Got it today at BMW of Flemington (NJ). Excellent experience with dealer, not pushy and aggressive pricing. They have the another Med Blue but its an M with some additional features which I did not want. They even threw in a set of all weather mats because I liked their Facebook page!

So guys here is what I'm being offered.. 2015 535 Msport, MSRP $67,240, 36mo, 15k/yr Monthly: $820 tax in, $2000 inceptions, nothing else due.
I don't have the complete breakdown, but based on these numbers what are your opinions?
You could get this car @ $720/month w/$2,000 drive-off...
How do you figure?
I got a lease quote w/$2K Drive-Off for $680 a month 12,000 miles/year for 36 months for a 535i MSRP $68K, giving this car is cheaper than my car by $1K, but wanting 15,000 miles/year, $40 more a month makes sense.
I was able to get down to $769/m (tax in, no money down), just paying first, bank, tag. 36mo/15k, MSRP of the car is $67,270. I'll report back tomorrow if the dealer was able to successfully trade for the car; there's a possibility I might have to find another car.

As I said, it is $925 as of today as per the BMW USA web site.
Just look at the lease offer for the 535x:
"...$4,404.00 cash due at signing is based on $3,000.00 down payment, $479.00 first month payment, $925.00 acquisition fee, and $.00 security deposit (not all customers will qualify for security deposit waiver)..."
moderator, could you help find out what's August MF RV and incentive for 528 xdrive? BMWNA website post same leasing offer till the end of august so my guess is the 1500 credit still there?

Greetings, Can someone please confirm the numbers for this 36 month/10k/2015 535xi lease is correct: 1.30MF; max 7 MSDs for a total 0.49 MF reduction; $1,500 BMWFS build-out cash; $1,000 team USA credit. Are there other incentives out there for 2015 535xi leasing?

Sharp color! Are you leasing 10k/year? What was your RV? I'm looking for current MF and RV for 2015 535x at 36m/10k.

Well... that sucks.. not that 80% of the dealers weren't already attempting to mark it up to $995, anyway.

M3: 62% residual. $1000 buildout cash
740: 53% residual. $4000 buildout cash
Probably the best deal on the 550, as I doubt they are giving much of a discount on the M3.

Buildout cash can be used to reduce the cap cost or to help offset some of the up front costs of signing your lease (bank fee, dealer fee, etc.).

BMW does not offer competitive 48 month lease terms - the residuals are lousy.
