Residual: 65% 10,000 miles per year MF: .0013 $0 down, only paying 1st month payment $535/month (includes all taxes and fees)
Those numbers give me $426/mo before tax.
What is the net cap cost? What state and tax rate is this?
It's Maryland (6%). So the taxes are $2,672. Acquisition fee of $925. Adjusted residual is $32,480.50. Another $624 is fees (doc fee; $300, govt fees $351, $500 upfront payment then offset by a $500 USAA rebate of $500).
Ah... $3600 in tax and acq.fees.. That's where the extra $100/mo. comes in.
Even considering the $1000 incentive on this model, the discount is very good. You did pretty well.
Can you please give me the residual rates for a 328ix and 328d wagons for 12k/15k and available incentives? Can the build outcash and eco credit be combined? Are these rates for the wagons and sedans the same? Also, any word on the September 2015 rates?

September numbers:

Northern VA dealers response to my .00170 inquire "the money factor of .00170 is based of the top tier credit. Any credit score lower than 675 will cause a jump in the money factor" therefore since my credit is top tier I should be eligible for .00130? Also, is 64% residual plus $1500 buildout cash?

Keep expanding your search ... it only takes one dealer to meet your demand of the base MF of .00130.
64% is the 36/10 residual, $1500 buildout cash this month.

Both are using the base MF, so that's a good start. $170/mo is a big difference between the two deals - that's over $6K for the life of the lease. Is a car with 8000 miles on it worth that much to you? They'll both be under warranty the entire lease term.
Thanks Michaell I have tow sons that both are interested in the car so I may go with both !! I just needed to make sure that I negotiated a good deal on either one. I tried to squeeze the dealer for more discount if I go for both , but they said that The selling price for either car is under invoice and no room to discount any more What you think Thanks

2015 328 XI 36/12K lease MSRP: $51,550 Price paid: $45,209
I see what they are calling gross capitalized cost as $49,442 ($45,209 for vehicle, $235 for tag/registration, $2,730.48 for MD tax, $925 acquisition, and $343 for processing).

Does BMW offer a better residual rate to use for a lease between 24-36 months for a 328iX Sedan? (What are the current residual rates for Sept- did they change from August?) Benz sometimes offers same residual on a 30Month lease as 24 - this makes for a great lease rate.
Also - mileage per year - It sounds like base residual is for 10k/year - with +1 for 12k and +2 for 15k Am I Correct?

BMW does not have a program similar to MB in that regard. The best lease term is 36 months.
The normal numbers are for 15,000 miles per year. Add 2% to the residual for 12K and 3% for 10K.
Current lease numbers are .00130 and 61% for 36/15 on the 2015 328xi sedan. $1500 buildout cash.
I’m completely new to the car buying/leasing world as I have never bought from a dealer before so I was hoping for some help.
My fiance’ and I are looking at getting a BMW 320i, and leaning towards leasing. We are both 26 with combined income of almost $200k. My thinking is that the car we need now (small, good gas milage, etc.) is very different from the car we need in 3 years (likely have kids, so need bigger and different features), so leasing makes more sense than buying — do you agree?
Also, I’m not following all of these different terms and values used, such as residuals, buildout cash, capitalized cost, etc. These all obviously affect the type of deal you get — can you give me a bit of a crash course in what I need to know for leasing?

.00130 MF and 63% residual. $1500 buildout cash.
I get $356/mo.+tax, assuming the selling price = net cap cost.
I don't think there is any security deposit on a BMWFS lease, right now. $925 acquisition fee, maybe?
Thanks. I will ask for breakdown of the $1995 out of pocket. Since there is $1500 buildout case, will it be too much to ask for even lower net cap cost. Say around $32500 range.

Doesn't look like that good of a deal. The .00170 MF is the max allowed - base MF is .00130. And, we don't recommend putting any money down on a lease; if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money. You may want to consider MSD to buy down the base MF - 7 are allowed and the effective MF would drop to .00081.
Guys first time leasing! and i would like for you guys to help and see if this is a good deal on a 2015 bmw 320i in florida.

$1500 buildout cash is an incentive used to lower the selling price of the car, or to offset the upfront costs of a lease.

The money factor markup adds $29/mo. Of course, you have a big discount from MSRP and that might not be achievable with the base MF.
