They are both "Elite". I am assuming I can negotiate the price further. I always lease and can calculate, but never looked at a demo vehicle before.
Thanks in advance!
.00130 MF and 61% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr. $1500 buildout cash.
You have to reduce the residual to account for the mileage. I think it's $0.20/mile, but check with the dealer.
Thanks.
This is what I was just offered.
2015 328i, 36/12k MSRP: $49,550 Miles: 3,802 Selling Price: $39,866 Residual: $30,556.10 (61.67%) Upfront fees & tax: $350.47 Capped Doc Fee $578.40 MF: .00170 (Said this is what they quote, will be lower with good credit, which is fine for calc purposes)
With paying first payment, fees and a cap reduction ($189.43), $1,000 total out of pocket, they are saying $459.99 including tax (7% in FL per month)
I am calculating $416.37 including tax. Where am I missing the difference (My Calcs below)

Can you please give me the residual rates for a 328ix and 328d wagons for 12k/15k and available incentives? Can the build outcash and eco credit be combined? Are these rates for the wagons and sedans the same? Also, any word on the September 2015 rates?
September numbers:
328xi Wagon - .00130 and 64% / 62%. $1500 buildout credit 328xd Wagon - .00130 and 63% / 61%. $1500 buildout credit and $500 eco credit; can be combined.
Residuals are different for the sedans - 1% less on the residual.
Hi,
Can I get some feedback on a quote on a new 2015 328i Wagon?
Money Factor 0.0013 36/12k Residual 64% Acquisition rolled into lease $80 doc fee 8% tax Drive off $950.62
I'm also working a deal with a very similar car but a 328d wagon. I haven't got a lease quote yet, but they're down to $47,545 on a MSRP of $56,840. I think they payment will be about the same accounting for the lower selling price, but lower residual value.
Now I'm just considering the diesel's fuel savings vs the driving characteristics of the gas engine.
328xi wagon - $498/mo with tax 328xd wagon - $498/mo with tax
So, no difference between the two. Just a matter of which engine you'll like better.
I ended up going with the gas engine, it just feels a little smoother than the diesel. I know I'll be kicking myself down the road once I start thinking about all the money I'd save with diesel. I was also able to get the dealer to get my payments down to $500.00 with tax without changing any of the details above. They really must be trying to move these things.
This forum is a great resource and really helped me with the process. Thanks for all you're help.
Hello, I am trying to see about getting out of a lease. We leased a 2014 CLA and have had so many issues, the car is costing more to keep. We went to BMW. Location is Suitland, MD.
They offered a trade value for 27k. The payoff is 33000. -6000 equity. They quoted us for a 3 series 328i x-drive Loaner Lease: MSRP:45100.00 Sales Price: 37000.00 MF at .00130 (after negotiating) and Residual ? (they have it as 27784). 0 down. $640 a month. 36 months and 10k miles
What is the current MF and RV? They said they didn't offer 39 months. Is there a way to get this any lower? I tried with the dealer and they went from .00150 to .00130. But said there was absolutely nothing else they could do.
I am new to negotiating leases. I still kinda don't get how to negotiate. Being my second time, they always say, this is a set rate by the manufacturer and it cannot be changed.

The $6000 negative equity is killing you. That adds $175/mo. to the new lease.
Isn't the Mercedes under warranty? I'd just ride it out.
.00130 MF and 64% residual (reduced by $0.20/mi. for current mileage on vehicle).
Yeah, looks like Mercedes lied about their competitive price, so we have no choice but to ride it out. Most likely upgrade the suspensions and hopefully resolve any more money thrown away at run flats miraculously developing bumps every 6 months. Thanks for the advice and assistance.

.00130 and 64%. $1500 buildout credit available.
If the sale price is the cap cost, and we reduce the MF by .00021 to account for the 3 MSDs, I get a payment of $452/mo plus tax.
What state is this and what is the tax rate?
I would see if there is any more room to come down on the price ...

Hi, about to pull the trigger on a 2015 328i xdrive on Monday and wanted to see how I did:

How did I do? Also, with top tier credit, should the money factor be any better? Thanks!

Base MF is .00130, so that's marked up a bit on you.
My lease is nearing completion on a 2013 328i. The dealers near me have been calling on my interest in doing a pull-ahead on the 4 remaining payments to get into a new car. At first I wasn't sure that I wanted another BMW, but after doing a bit of research it seems like there may be great deals to be had on remaining stock 2015s.
Given that people typically aim for invoice + $500 or so on 'current' model years (roughly 8% off MSRP), am I dreaming if I think I can get a 2015 for 15% off MSRP (including the $1,000 credit currently being offered)?
My current 328 is pretty simple (Sport line, Sensa-Tec, no NAV), so I'd either want to get into a 335 or a well-optioned 328. If I can achieve my desired discount, I'd actually be looking at a lower monthly payment than on my current 328.
I have a 2013 328 xi with 10 remaining payments. I'd like to get into a 15 or 16 328 xi ASAP. Do you think I will get the best possible dealer offer with 0 payments left? Or do you think I could get just as good of a dealer offer with say 4 payments to go and dealer covers 4 remaining payments through "pull ahead program?"
Also, would like to hear your thoughts on this deal I was quoted yesterday:
2015 328 xi MSRP 52,885 selling price 47,950 residual 64% MF .00130 2000 down covers first payment, lease acquisition fee, doc fee and plates 3 year lease, 10K miles per year $499 monthly payment + 6.25% Mass state sales tax
What is the invoice on this car, and how do I find it?
What should my monthly payment be in above deal if 12K miles per year instead of 10K miles per year?
Good deal?
Thanks so much for your helpful insight and advice!

I think you'll take a major hit, trading in your lease early.
The quoted deal is okay. Doesn't look like any markups, but there is a $1500 incentive on this vehicle, so the true discount is about $3400. You might be able to do better than that.
You can get the invoice price by building the vehicle using the Make/Model/Year tabs at the top of the page.

Thank you. Yea, payoff is 29k and my car is worth 23k. So 6 k negative equity. Wouldn't do trade in, would just eat the rest of remaining payments (350 x 10) and then lease the new car.
Do do you think the best dealer offer would be with 0 payments left (waiting until lease maturity next August) Or do you think I could get just as good of a deal if they were to pay say 3 or 4 remaining payments through their "pull ahead program?"
If I just pay 6 of the remaining 10 payments now, and they are able to pick up remaining 4 to get me into a new lease now, that's what I'm thinking.
What do you think?
I always read about folks getting their 3 series for invoice, so that's the number I'll be shooting for.

Who would eat the rest of the payments?
It's always best to complete your current lease before starting a new one - unless there is a defined 'pull ahead' program that you can take advantage of. And, I'm not aware of one at the moment.

Hi. Does anyone have MF and resid for 335ix? 36/12 zip 60010 I'm guessing options won't effect resid%? Is there an easy place to find this vs asking each time?

When you buy the MF down with BMW how is the amount of each MSD payment calculated? Is it the original payment before the reduced MF less the sales tax, or is some other calculation used? Thanks.

As you describe - payment with original MF. rounded up to the next $50.
Can I please get the 15k numbers for the 2015 and 2016 328 wagon (both diesel and gas) in Colorado? Would be interested in shorter than 36 month terms if numbers are competitive...

Don't assume the .00170 MF will go down. Top tier credit is .00130 and maximum markup is .00040, so you can do the math.
Looks like you get 500 free miles, then the rest reduce the residual by $0.20/mile.

2015 Subaru Outback 3.6R / 2014 MINI Countryman S ALL4
Vehicle: 328 I Gran Turismo 2015
Final Sale Price: 45,795
Cash Down: documentation + all other fees + first month payment = $2000
36 Months 12K miles
MSD = $1500
Offered= $459 per month
Can you please validate if the numbers are looking okay. I really want it to be at $450, Is there any scope ?
If the sale price is the cap cost, and we reduce the MF by .00021 to account for the 3 MSDs, I get a payment of $452/mo plus tax.
What state is this and what is the tax rate?
I would see if there is any more room to come down on the price ...

This site is such a wealth of knowledge. Thank you.
I'm looking at getting my first BMW - Here's what I know regarding the car I'm looking at:
2015 328i MSRP $46245.
I'm looking at doing 36 Month/12K. Invoice price at 40100. Tax is in Texas at 6.25.
I appreciate your help.
Thanks!
Not sure what you mean by invoice price. Is that an offered selling price?

Is this correct for Sep? I locked in Sep rates.
2015 320i -
24/10K-69%
36/10K-64% - dealer is telling me it's 63% for 36m.
2015 328 xi
MSRP 52,885
selling price 47,950
residual 64%
MF .00130
2000 down covers first payment, lease acquisition fee, doc fee and plates
3 year lease, 10K miles per year
$499 monthly payment + 6.25% Mass state sales tax
What is the invoice on this car, and how do I find it?
What should my monthly payment be in above deal if 12K miles per year instead of 10K miles per year?
Good deal?
Thanks so much for your helpful insight and advice!

The quoted deal is okay. Doesn't look like any markups, but there is a $1500 incentive on this vehicle, so the true discount is about $3400. You might be able to do better than that.
You can get the invoice price by building the vehicle using the Make/Model/Year tabs at the top of the page.
Going to 12K/yr will add about $12/mo.+tax

SP: $39,900
Cap Cost: $42,416 (With tax and other fees)
MF: 0.00090
12k Miles. 63% Residual
MSD: $2800
36 Monthly Payment of $389.00.
I always read about folks getting their 3 series for invoice, so that's the number I'll be shooting for.
thanks again!

Who would eat the rest of the payments?
It's always best to complete your current lease before starting a new one - unless there is a defined 'pull ahead' program that you can take advantage of. And, I'm not aware of one at the moment.

Do you have lease numbers on a 328i and a 328d in South Florida for a 36/15 lease? Thanks.

I'm guessing options won't effect resid%?
Is there an easy place to find this vs asking each time?
thank you.
