No, it is .00023.

And 64% residual for 36/12.

$595 bank fee from Chrysler this month.

At MSRP of $43970 and sales price 42k sales price I get a monthly payment of $401/month lease term 36/12, sound about right? One dealer wanted $600s.

I, too, get $401 with those numbers.

Confirm the adjusted cap cost the dealer is using - if higher than the $42K selling price, find out what is being added.

And, the dealer can also mark up the MF for extra profit - max .00042.

Chrysler numbers are regional, we haven't really seen any difference between the regions.

I received the following numbers from a dealer today on a Charger Scat Pack through Chrysler Capital:

MSRP: $45,865
Cap cost: $40,789
Residual: $28,436
Term: 36 mo
Mileage: 15k
MF: ?? looks to be 0.00339 working backwards

Payment: $578 + $34 tax = $612

I confirmed no start ups were included in the monthly payment and I'm pretty happy with over $5k off sticker, but $612 sounds ridiculous. Is the dealer just marking up the MF or is there anything else that I'm missing? Are they even allowed to go to 0.00339 if that's the case?

I agree with your reverse calculation. We don't know the exact "Standard" money factor, but it's usually reported by other members in the .0020-.0022 range.

It's possible that different models have different standard money factors. I know on the subvented money factors, the maximum dealer markup is .00042, but not sure if that applies to the standard MF.

Even dropping the money factor to .00239 would knock about $70/mo.+tax off the price.

Maybe that's a good negotiating ploy, now that you know the numbers. "Knock off $75/mo, and you have a deal". Then, just play dumb.
