If you're comfortable with the selling price and payment, probably nothing to worry about.
ok, but based on your calculation can you figure out what ARP they are actually using?

I can't reverse engineer the APR from the other numbers.

I'm pricing out 2016/2017 SUV's and looking to see how I can get the best deal. Right now, I'm focusing on the Ford Explorer since I like the styling and might be able to get the options I want for a decent price. I'm looking for MF and Residuals in NYC for:

1) Is there any cost benefit to buying a 2016 vs 2017 right now?
2) How do add-ons factor in to the residual? Is it the total post-addon MSRP x residual % or pre-addon MSRP x residual?
3) When I go in to the dealer, should I expect to get the MF and Residual % you guys provide or is this where they try to get you? Is the figure you provide for "well qualified" lessees.
4) I qualify for Ford X-plan, how does that factor in to the equation?

2. Residual is applied to the bottom line number of the window sticker (base MSRP + options + destination)
3. Dealer can mark up the money factor; residual is fixed by the bank. The numbers we quote are for top tier credit
4. X-plan helps set a price to use in the lease calculation

I'll assume that you are looking at AWD.

2017 Limited
36/12 - 53% and 1.25%
39/12 - 51% and 1.50%

2017 Sport
36/12 - 56% and 1.25%
39/12 - 54% and 1.50%

Add 1% to the residual for 10K. $250 lease cash.
