    Not sure if this exists, but is there a way to get the residual value on a 2017 pilot ex-l AWD after 3, 6 and 9 years assuming 5k miles per year of driving? How does this compare to the Toyota Highlander XLE AWD?

    We don't have any 2017 Pilot residuals. Also, the lowest mileage allowance on a Honda lease is 12K/yr.

    If you are just trying to figure out which is the best deal to drive for six or nine years, no one has a crystal ball, and lease residuals don't always square with reality. With these two vehicles, it's best to just drive the one you like the best. Total costs are probably pretty close, and will stay that way, the longer you drive it.

    If your intention is to keep the car for many years, then purchasing outright is the best approach.

    My mom has a 2003 vehicle she bought new. Still has less than 40,000 miles on it.

    I stopped in at Honda on the east end of Long Island today and looked at the 2017 Honda Pilot Elite, loaded.
    For a 3/36 they told me:

    62% RV
    .00131 MF

    Must be a third party bank. I show 58% for 36/12 on the Elite from Honda Finance.

    Hi. I have a quote in NJ for a 2017 Pilot EX. It would be my 4th lease with this dealer. Sale price $32,564. 36months/15k. $2000 down and $489 per month. Seems really high to me. Opinions? I'm also considering Ford Edge Titanium and Jeep Grand Cherokee. Thanks for any insight!

    Seem high. If $2000 covers tax, DMV and first payment, and we add $595 acquisition fee to the selling price for an adjusted CAP of $33159, then payment is $421/mo.

    .00175 MF and 60% residual.

    Ask the dealer for the adjusted CAP cost. I'm guessing you aren't really getting a $3000 discount.

    Curious about numbers for Northern NJ Honda EX-L with HS for 36m 12K and 15K.

    I saw earlier post for Elite in Long Island as Residual at 58% and MF as .00131 for 36/12. I'm guessing same for NJ correct?

    That post about Long Island must have been from a long, long time ago..

    EXL-HS:
    .00175 MF and 61%/59% residual
    Subtract 3% for Elite.

    It's possible that the standard MF from Honda has increased. We have no specific evidence what it is; it's always been .00175.
