Hi. I have a quote in NJ for a 2017 Pilot EX. It would be my 4th lease with this dealer. Sale price $32,564. 36months/15k. $2000 down and $489 per month. Seems really high to me. Opinions? I'm also considering Ford Edge Titanium and Jeep Grand Cherokee. Thanks for any insight!

Seem high. If $2000 covers tax, DMV and first payment, and we add $595 acquisition fee to the selling price for an adjusted CAP of $33159, then payment is $421/mo.

    .00175 MF and 60% residual.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted CAP cost. I'm guessing you aren't really getting a $3000 discount.

  • Curious about numbers for Northern NJ Honda EX-L with HS for 36m 12K and 15K.

I saw earlier post for Elite in Long Island as Residual at 58% and MF as .00131 for 36/12. I'm guessing same for NJ correct?

That post about Long Island must have been from a long, long time ago..

    EXL-HS:
    .00175 MF and 61%/59% residual
    Subtract 3% for Elite.

  • Just curious if So. Cal rates are different. I was quoted 0.00190 MF and not the 0.00175 as stated.

It's possible that the standard MF from Honda has increased. We have no specific evidence what it is; it's always been .00175.

It is, but the Pilot is very popular.

  • Looking for MF and residual for a 2017 2wd Touring in AZ please? 36/15 or 36/12

And what about 39 month lease/12K miles?

(I think I posted this on the wrong forum - sorry if it's a duplicate)

    36/15 - 58% and .00175

    Add 2% for 12K. Subtract 2% for 39 months.

So the dealer I'm working with is saying MF for 2017 Touring FWD is 00210 - no way that is right??? .00175 is what I was expecting!

We've had folks report both .00175 and .00190 - I'd suggest you check with other dealers and see if you get a consistent answer.

Wow. OK, thanks for the update. I wonder if that's true for all the models where there aren't subvented lease rates (2017 CR-V, for example)

  • The CR-V, FIT, HR-V, Odessey, Pilot 2w, Pilot 4W are on the table I'm looking for. I'm not at all lease savvy, don't know what subvented is.. would be happy to send you the table if you want it - is the email address in your signature correct?

Yes, that email address will work fine.

Subvented means that the bank (Honda Finance) is providing a lower than standard MF for the model.

Those do not look like Honda Finance figures.

We don't track selling prices, so can't help you there.

If I add the $2250 of remaining payments to your selling price, I get $412/mo - pretty close to your $410 quote.

Is your $412/mo including the sales tax rolled in as well as the dealer paying the first payment?

and they're not Honda finance.. credit union figures
