It is my first time attempting to lease a vehicle and could use any help you are able to provide.
What is the MF and RV on the CX-9 GT in both FWD and AWD? Would one be more advantageous over the other for lease figures? I'm looking at 36 months at 10,000 miles per year. I'm in Arizona.
We're also looking at leasing the Mazda 3 in Sport or Touring also at 36/10. Could you also provide me with those figures as well or should I post in the Mazda 3 forum? I'm just trying to keep it all in one place for better tracking. Thanks.

Can I have numbers for NY/NJ, GT and signature 12/15k 36/39 mo?thx
GT: .00023 MF and 55% residual for 36/15 .00126 MF and 54% residual for 39/15 Add 2% for 12K/yr
Signature: Subtract 4% from residuals above.
$735 lease cash on GT only.
Wow, the signature is really bad for leasing then.
A few more questions: How much is the loyalty incentive, can it be transferred to my parents if register the car under their name(free my debt for the mortgage application)?
Also, Do you know if I pay everything in one shot will lower the MF or get other types of discount? If the car get total loss, will the payment be refunded?

If you are all in the same household, I believe the loyalty can transfer.
No one-pay discount on the MF from Mazda, that I'm aware of.

GT AWD White
Sell Price $39,116 Lease 12K/36mths

He was saying Residual 57% and MF .00073.
I ran the number through a lease calculator and I'm not able to get near the monthly unless the fee portion is about $2,600 (He did not provide that in the calcs).
Ballparking DMV at $400 and Doc fee $100, can I assume acquisition is $2100.
Does this seem high? Or could I be missing other fees?

The MF is marked up the maximum allowed.
However, they can't touch the residual. Confirm the mileage and trim level they are quoting against.
And - what is the MSRP?
Mazda acquisition fee is $595, so there might be some cap reduction in the $2600. Ask them for a specific breakdown of that figure.
Lots to question about this deal ... might be time to find another dealer.

The dealer is correct on the residual. Our response was 1% too low.
But, the base MF is definitely .00023. Dealers are allowed to markup the money factor for extra profit. The maximum markup is... .00050. Funny how that works out.
The acquisition fee is $595.
Give us the MSRP and tax rate, and we can run some calculations.

The MSRP for the car is $40370. I'm in Santa Clara, CA so tax rate is 8.75%. I ran the numbers several times and it looks like there is some amount added to the fees that I need to find out.
Also base on the MF quoted it looks like they marked up the MF for the max 0.0005.
They also raised the Sell Price from the original quote $500 just because it's a lease versus finance.
Sounding like a terrible deal all around but I'll talk to them and see what gives. Even if it does not work out, it is good to go through the discussion for when I try to work with another dealer.
Do you have February residual and MF for AWD Grand Touring and Signature at 36/12 (or whatever ideal lease term is - 36/39)? I am in Pennsylvania. Thanks.

I wanted to share the lease deal I just got at my local Mazda dealer in Raleigh, NC:
2016 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring FWD 36mo 12K/yr MSRP: $41,225
Including tax, and all other fees, ended up at $405/mo with $500 due at signing (considered 1st mo payment due at signing). Also negotiated cross-bars for the roof to be included.
Hoping I got a decent deal. There were some other cars that I liked better, more comfortable for taller driver, but they just didn't lease well (Dodge Durango and Lexus RX350). I feel that the Mazda offered a lot of car for the $. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
Hi. Can I get the residual factor and MF for February on Touring, GT and Signature trims, all AWD for 36/10, 36/12 and 39/12 for NYC area please. Any incentives? Thank you!

Amazingly helpful; thank you. Does MF or Resid change (per leasing co) if executing a pre-pay? BTW, I am looking at a Signature in CT and am assuming the recent 0.00023/52% for 36/12. Separately, for same model/terms, why is 39/12 wildly more expensive [in NYC]? Thanks in advance.

No information about a one-pay program from Mazda.
Do you expect the 2017 CX-9 will have better lease rates than the 2016, due to higher residuals? Or maybe further incentives to clear out the remaining 2016's? Worth waiting a few more weeks?

With your prices, I get $467/mo. Assuming you are paying the taxes up front. Looks like the MF is being marked up on you.
Be polite and tell them you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF.
Interested in 2016 Grand Touring AWD in Chicago, IL as well - but considering a higher mileage lease. Would the MF be the same .00023? What about the Residual for 36months x 17k/yr? Or is it not in my best interest to lease and prepay the additional miles?

Money factor won't change.
Residual will be reduced to account for the extra 6000 miles. Not sure what that number is, but it's likely to be $0.15-$0.20 per mile.
