It's an incentive from Lexus. It's treated as a CAP cost reduction.

It states "Eligibility: Must be a current owner or lessee of an eligible non-luxury make, current model year and up to 5 years prior. Eligible competitor makes: Chevrolet, Chrysler, Ford, Jeep, Kia, GM, Hyundai, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Scion, Subaru, or Volkswagen. Members of the same household will be accepted. Trade-in of current vehicle is not required. Must be credit approved by LFS."

I have an immediate family member who lives with me that drives a 2015 Toyota Corolla. Would that count towards this?

As it reads, yes. But, we aren't administering the plan.

MF = money factor. It's a number used to calculate the finance charge portion of the lease payment.

To calculate a payment, you need the MSRP and the sale price or adjusted CAP cost.

What does the $3500 cover? Understand there is a difference between 'down payment' and 'up front cash' for a lease - dealer fee, bank fee, first payment can be paid at inception.

Adjusted cap cost = negotiated selling price + taxes and fees you don't pay up front - cap cost reduction

Hello. Looking for your opinion on whether I should pull the trigger on leasing an NX this month, or wait until next month. I was shopping over the weekend and got what I feel is a great lease quote on an NX. I would rather not sign papers until next month when my current lease ends. I know there is no definite answer to this, but are the MF/Residual/Incentives likely to get better or worse in mid-late July? I've tried looking for some historical numbers but haven't found anything useful.

My calculations are within .01 of that quote.

We aren't big fans of leases beyond 36 months - will you still be in warranty?

And, after that much time and miles, you may be responsible for consumable items - tires and brakes come to mind.

Thousands of lessees in Texas will tell you that you are wrong.
The banks owe sales tax on the cars they purchase for a lease, and they pass that cost on to the lessee.

Try leasing a vehicle, and see what happens.
