What lease term?

We don't recommend any down payment on a lease - it masks your true cost, and the money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

Looking for lease pricing for the Velar S I pre-ordered a few months back. I'm told the vehicle has arrived and would like to get some basic nbrs before i head to the dealership. Final price (including delivery & destination charge) is $59,610. Paid a deposit of $1k at pre-order. Looking at 33, 36, 42 month lease options, 12k or 15k m/yr. What's the MF & residual that makes sense? Looking to trade in my wife's car which is currently financed (we really don't need 3 cars), however trading in for a lease doesn't seem to make too much sense to me. Anyways, will appreciate it if you have any pricing details. Thanks

If your trade has equity, simply ask the dealer for a check - you're right, you don't want to use it as down payment for the lease.

These are the LR Financial numbers, however.

The MF of .00015 = 0.36% interest rate. Is that correct? That seems very low? One of the dealerships I've been working with quoted a residual of 56% and MF of .00131 (3.1% interest rate).

I'm assuming that the MF is negotiable. I'm not sure how low they'll go, but .00015 seems like it may be difficult to get.

Be polite and tell them you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF.

Hello, I've been able to negotiate $1,500 below MSRP. The MF from Land Rover you gave me was 0.00015. I have been unable to get the dealership to match the buy rate at 0.00015. They said they can give it to me for 0.00035 (0.0002 over the buy rate). Do Land Rover dealerships ever match the buy rate MF? Is this not feasible because its a new suv/because of the brand? They seemed adamant that they have to make a profit off the MF as well.

In general, Land Rover dealerships seem to be hard to bargain with. Tell them you are okay with .00035, if they knock another $500 off the price. Probably won't work. If it doesn't, you only have two options.

With the marked up money factor and MSRP as adjusted CAP cost, I get $861/mo.+tax.
I'd get something else before I'd pay that much

Per your earlier reply, it looks like Rdyn-HSE 4 cylinder Turbo is the best deal with really low MF .00031 and 57% residual for 7.5K miles.

Can you provide the info for 2 litter diesel. 7.5K miles. For Trim S, Rdyn SE and HSE
