Good Afternoon! Would this be a good deal for the QX60 with premium package, premium plus package and driver assist. msrp:53,200 39months/12 $499 a month 2,355 down, which includes the fees and 1st months pmt.
Thank you so much, not sure if it was a good deal. The sales person kept telling us there were no incentives but then out of nowhere he could give us 1k off...so not sure. Did not get a good impression but we can always go to another Infiniti leadership. Thanks again!

You should ask the dealer for this information, as it will help us determine if you are getting a good deal or not.
So, I have a deal in place with a dealer in NJ for a 2017 AWD QX60 Premium Package 39/15. These are the numbers for the deal:
MSRP: $47,910 Negotiated Price: $39,638 Bank Fee: $700 Doc Fee: $484 DMV: $376 NJ Tire Tax: $7.50 Sales Tax: 6.875% Monthly Payment: $442.36 No down payment, all fees and taxes rolled into lease, only first month due at signing
Now using the MF of .00012 and RV of 52% for 39/15, I get $452.86/month. Not sure how they get $442.36, and I'm also not sure if they are using any incentives to get me to the selling price of $39,638. My first question is what do you guys think about the deal?
My other questions have to do with the fact that they did not have the exact vehicle at their dealer. So, they told me that they would locate the vehicle from another dealer in the area. They located the vehicle about 200 miles away. The issue that I'm having is that they are going to be driving the vehicle from wherever they located it to the dealer. My question is, is this vehicle considered a used vehicle since it is going to be driven all those miles? And if it is considered used, should I be negotiating a better selling price? They told me that my miles for the lease would begin after whatever the mileage is when the vehicle arrives at the dealer. But, I don't know if I should be hesitant to close the deal with the vehicle being driven that much, and I'm basically seeing it as being used..or am I looking into it too much? Thank you in advance, any insight is appreciated.

$442/mo, with only first payment out of pocket, for a $48K vehicle, is a good price.
Any incentives available are likely baked into the $39K selling price, trust us.
Only you can decide if 200 miles is too much for a "new" vehicle. You should ask them how much it would be to transport it to the local dealer. It won't be considered "used" for the purposes of the lease. Alternatively, ask them to lower the payment to $440/mo even, to account for the mileage.

My 09 Genesis had almost 400! At first I wasn’t happy, then thought who cares on a lease.

I don't know...I guess I care because at the end of the day I'm spending my money on a brand new car, even if it is a lease, and I guess it just bothers me a bit that there's 200 miles on there that I didn't put on the vehicle.

I'm assuming that this car is the correct color and has the options you specifically want? This late in the year, you won't have a lot of choice of inventory.
Again, only you can decide whether to accept the deal, or not. Have you asked the dealer about shipping the car, rather than driving it the 200 miles?
Let's assume they are doing a dealer trade. 200 miles means paying someone $15/yr X 8 hours to take a car up and bring your car back. $120.
400 mile round trip on a flatbed? At least $800.
I tried not to get into whether 200 miles matters, because it's a leased car. But, even if it was a purchase, 200 miles is worth $50, at most. So far, autonomous cars are not a thing, so they can't move on their own.
If you don't want a car from that dealer, then your choices are to buy the car from the dealer 200 miles away (What will that cost you in time and expense to go get it? And, it will still have 200 more miles when you get it home), or pay for the expense to have it transported ($600-$800, most likely).
These aren't normal overhead costs, like paying the utility bills and real estate taxes. These are additional costs specific to your deal. If it's worth an extra $500-$700 to you, by all means ask them to flatbed it, and offer to pay for it. Otherwise, enjoy your new car!

GA taxes the entire selling price; we suggest you add that amount into the selling price, along with all other fees, save DMV or registration costs. I also don't see the Infiniti acquisition fee mentioned anywhere - that's $700.
The discount is likely a combination of a discount from the dealer and an Infiniti lease incentive.
If I add the taxes and fees to the selling price, I get $660/mo. The taxes alone are adding almost $100/mo to the payment.
Regarding my post above on the QX60. Ga will be modifying lease taxes 1/1/18 passing HB340. Will remove taxes upfront to make leasing more affordable again.
Does that deal above look good, or could there be more to negotiate and where? Paying $3500 up front with $588/month seems steep to me looking at other deals on this blog.

Yeah, the current GA lease taxes are a killer. Any way you can defer your new car transaction until after the new year?
Thanks for the heads up on the change in the tax situation.

FWD or AWD?
What is the full breakdown of the $1500 up front?
What is the adjusted cap cost, with fees added in that aren't covered up front.
And, FYI, the 39 month residual is the same as 36 months; will result in a slightly lower payment.

With the prices provided, I get $535/mo for 36 months, and $495/mo for 39 months.
Florida taxes the monthly payment on a lease.
Ask for a print out of the $1500 ... I don't see any reference to the acquisition fee or the generally outrageous Florida dealer doc fee.

If that sale price is the adjusted CAP cost, then I get $463/mo.+tax for 39/12. Which is pretty close.
I'll bet they are quoting you a 39 month lease (which is what you want, with this lease program)
I have a question regarding an Excessive Wear & Use Coverage plan that Infiniti offers, for up to $5000. It covers tires, dents, scratches, etc. for when you turn in your vehicle. I have a deal worked out on a 2017 AWD QX60 Premium Package, MSRP $47,910, 39/15k..my monthly payment is $442 with only 1st month due at signing, everything else is rolled in. But now, if I take the Excessive Wear & Use Coverage plan, it brings my payment to $462/month. How do you guys feel about these plans, are they worth it? I take good care of my cars, but they are trying to tell me that at the very least I'll need tires at the end of my lease, since I have the 15k; and that any scratches, dents, etc would be covered as long as everything doesn't exceed $5000. Before Infiniti, I leased Acuras and I never had any issues when returning my cars... but Acura includes a $750 excessive wear & use waiver in the lease. Let me know what you guys think, your input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much. This makes me feel more comfortable as I was getting a number of $440, so clearly doing poor math.

Generally, we advise against excess wear and tear coverage, but if it includes tires, $800 may be worth it. You might want to price tires to see if it makes sense.
I'd review the terms of that policy very carefully.

@joeycole What happens if you need tires at 36K? Do you drive on bald tires for 9K miles, because they'll be free at lease end?
Keep the $780 in your pocket to pay any expenses you might have.

The low residual eats up the savings of low MF.

Thank you so much, not sure if it was a good deal. The sales person kept telling us there were no incentives but then out of nowhere he could give us 1k off...so not sure. Did not get a good impression but we can always go to another Infiniti leadership. Thanks again!
What is the selling price?
What is the full breakdown of the $2355?

Option 1
MSRP - $51,480
Sale Price - $47,840
RV - 52%
MF .00042 (I know I can push this to .00021
39 Months/15K Mileage for $663 per month
$1,006 due at signing (1st month + fees)
Option 2
MSRP - $49,240
Sale Price - $45,240
Dealer Adds - $887
RV - 52%
MF .00021
I have received the payment yet for option 2 but wanted to get thoughts on how these look?
I'm guessing option 2 will result in a lower payment, as the prices are less.

So, I have a deal in place with a dealer in NJ for a 2017 AWD QX60 Premium Package 39/15. These are the numbers for the deal:
MSRP: $47,910
Negotiated Price: $39,638
Bank Fee: $700
Doc Fee: $484
DMV: $376
NJ Tire Tax: $7.50
Sales Tax: 6.875%
Monthly Payment: $442.36
No down payment, all fees and taxes rolled into lease, only first month due at signing

I'm assuming that this car is the correct color and has the options you specifically want? This late in the year, you won't have a lot of choice of inventory.
Again, only you can decide whether to accept the deal, or not. Have you asked the dealer about shipping the car, rather than driving it the 200 miles?

15/39 Lease terms
MSRP = $54,930.00, RV = 52, MF = NOT SURE
Savings = $6,096.92 (not sure where this is coming from)
Cap Cost = $48,833.08
TAVT = $3,514.01
Dealer Doc = $599.00
Title Fee = $18.00
License/Title Fee = $22.00
GA Warr RHTS Fee = $3.00
ETR = $68.00
TOTAL PRICE = $53,057.09
Here is what I am being presented. This all seems high to me. Please comment and help with better pricing.
Thank you!
Cash Down = $3,500
Monthly Payment = $588.00
Cash Down - $4,500
Monthly = $561.46
Cash Down = $5,500
Monthly = $534.92
Cash Down = $6,500
Monthly = $508.39

Does that deal above look good, or could there be more to negotiate and where? Paying $3500 up front with $588/month seems steep to me looking at other deals on this blog.
Thanks for the heads up on the change in the tax situation.

What is the full breakdown of the $1500 up front?
What is the adjusted cap cost, with fees added in that aren't covered up front.
And, FYI, the 39 month residual is the same as 36 months; will result in a slightly lower payment.

Sorry,
It's FWD. They said the $1500 is first month and inceptions (Tax, Tag transfer, etc??)

I'm going to concur with my co-host - the OEM tires on my wife's Outback are ready to be replaced, and it has just over 20,000 miles on it.
Now, if the policy will cover the cost of the tires during the lease, that is a completely different matter.
