This is what the dealer sent me. Monthly payment at $399.49 tax included. $2000 down. Based on the numbers from the picture, could you please tell me if this is a good deal? Or can the monthly payment be lower? Thanks for all your help.

9% discount looks good, but the acquisition fee is marked up $300 (base is $795) and the dealer fee is ... well ... outrageous.

I get the same payment, with those numbers.

I'd push for a lower selling price to offset the dealer fee, and restructure the deal so only the first payment and registration costs are due up front.

I plan for 36mo/12k leases in CA for the CLA250. What is the RV and MF. Also, any incentives this month? I spoke to one of the dealers and got a quote of $426 + tax per month with a $3000 down payment. is this a good deal?

We don't have a published 39 month residual from MB; 36/10 numbers are standard MF (.00200 to .00230) and 54%

Got a quote for a 2018 CLA250 - MSRP $38,995, Sale Price $32,700, Cap Cost $35,155.
36mo/10k, MF .00060/RV 59%. $399 mo (tax of 6% included), Drive off is $1400 (includes 1st month). Sounds off to me. Would be great to get feedback asap as I'm supposed to go to dealership tomorrow, 10/14 to do the deal. Thank you!

Thank you. Just seemed like a lot was added to the sale price to get to the cap of $35,155, in addition to the $1400 drive off. They're cap is a 10% discount off the MSRP, which is not bad. I just can't imagine what they can be adding to the $32,700 sale price to get to that CAP.

Have you heard that the discount for AutoPay has been discontinued as of this month. That's what one dealership told me but the another one didn't seem to be aware of that.

Finally - if I do 10 MSD, how much should that lower the monthly payment, about $36? Thank you again!

I wouldn't guess. Ask them for a reconciliation of the selling price and adjusted CAP cost.

We don't have any first-hand info on Auotpay, just what we hear from members.

You can't use 10 MSDs, as that would give you a negative money factor. If dealer agrees, 8 MSDs would take you down to .00004. About $33-$34/mo.

With those numbers, I get $301/mo.+tax.
That should put you between $325-$330/mo, depending on your tax rate.
Looks like they've marked up the money factor to .00155

The whole point of a lease is to pay as you go. No point in putting $5000 upfront.
With the base money factor, you could put $3000 upfront and have the same payment.

We simply used the prices you gave us. No inferences or assumptions on what that does or does not include.

I took the sale price, then deducted the CAP cost reduction listed on your document, to get the adjusted CAP cost.

The deal as listed, is $2000 more in total cost, than if they weren't marking up the money factor.
