I am completely new to the realm of leasing so I am really hoping I can get some guidance, please. I test drove a 2018 GLC300 (base package). I believe the MSRP is 43 or 44k. Dealer is offering me 6k below MSRP. Does this sound good to you? I am in Southern California. I will be leasing for 12k miles/year. What types of info should I ask for before I am lured back into the dealership?
Thank you!
Before going to (or talking with) the dealership, I'd suggest you get a better understanding of leasing. Use this link to help get you started:
@ttom712, where are you located? I were not able to receive any dealer reply me email with quotes, non of them are willing to send it through mails, but ask to be there in person... and I went on last friday, he quoted me the MF 0.0022 and RV 57%, with 1500 off MSRP... kind of crazy comparing to yours, I am in San Diego.
Planning to buy a GLC300W RWD; sticker price 45K, negotiated down to 37k. When inquired about lease the money factor quoted was .0026 (around 6.5% APR); residual quoted was around 26.5K
What is MB's December 2017 money factor rate, residual (and any other sharable details) for a GLC300W lease? This is in TEXAS (Houston area).

I was wondering if this is a good deal I'm receiving on a lease from this MB dealer in VA. The dealer took the MSRP from $48,115 down to $43,615.
2018 GLC 300 4MATIC MSRP: $43,615 36 Months / 12k miles $580 per month (dealer said "around" $580 to be exact) Residual value over 36 months: 57% Money Factor: Did not provide yet Taxes, title, tag paid up front.
I attached a snapshot of the options and package included in this car.

.00139 and 58% for 36/12 (dealer cannot alter the residual).
With the prices provided, I get $536/mo.
If everything is being paid up front, then the MF may be marked up.
At Houston the 3 car dealerships I was trying to lease the GLC300 from, none offered a MF of .0014 or even closer number. All quoted between 0.0026 and 0.0029.
Unless it's something Houston or TX rate - what state would be best to get low or fair market MF?

That's just greed run amok.

36/12. Add 1% for 10K 43: .00070 MF and 51% residual 300: .00090 MF and 54% residual

Hi guys! My father just leased a 2018 GLC300 in Southern California with:

Premium Package AMG Line Night Package Smartphone Integration Package
(MSRP including delivery is $48675)
For a one time lease-payment of $22496 out the door for 3 years with 7,500 miles a year. There's an option to purchase at the end of the lease for $29655 + $150 purchase fee + taxes. I was away at the time and wasn't there with him to negotiate. Neither of us really know much about leasing either. Had I known, I would have consulted with you guys first! Did he get a decent deal on this lease?
Can you please give me the residual and money factor for a 2018 GLC 300 for a 36 month lease with only 7500 miles or the least miles available for that car? Thanks

Hi Thanks for the thread that I finally got my finally offer, but I found there are two fees that are in the final number other than the lease acquisition, any suggestion?

I see, so earlier I try to find a way to figure out how this 27 was, so I did this math like 1714*0.58/36 = 27.xx, but likely it is not.
But if the maintenance package is $1495, I still can't figure out how they come up with the $27.
I looked back their offer, there is no the other fee, i mess up with something, But according to the RV value they gave, 26732, it seems like they're doing 59% for me not 58% (which I am having the 36/12000miles term)
Regarding to the $1095, they told me they've discounted that on the selling price for me, so that's the bottom line they have... how does the payment $487 with above number?

It's likely that the $1495 cost has been added to the MSRP, effectively residualizing it. Which is why the net cost to you is $27/mo. That's a good thing. That's also why the residual amount is larger than expected. When the MSRP goes up, so does the residual. Mercedes is the only make that we've see that allows this.
It looks like you have a really good deal. I wouldn't sweat the $300 markup to the acquisition fee.

Thanks! I drove it home this afternoon! again, appreciated all the thread discussion, very useful.
I found one thing after the shopping, most of the dealers aware that we all used e-mail and online information to get quote and compete each other, so most of the dealership I sent online never gave any good offer, but I am sure if you found one which is willing to give the offer at the time, just go for it and set your target price firm, and then if you're serious enough with reasonable price, they'll make it happen in the end, since they also want to clean up their inventory as soon as they could.

Assuming the MF for a GLC43 coupe is still 0.0007 on a 36/12 in January, how much would each MSD reduce the MF by? Earlier today, I was quoted:
MSRP: $71,755 Effective selling/leasing price: $68,755 36 months lease 12,000 miles per year 51% residual 10 MSDs = $11,000 MF: 0.00021 Total out of pocket including MSDs: $14,034.91 (not including trucking*) Monthly payment of $990.97 including 8.25% sales tax

I get $915/mo.+tax with their numbers, so not far off. Did they break down the $3034 over and above the $11000 MSDs?

If it is based on MSRP, I am able to offer a larger than $6,000.
Factory determined Residuals and Money Factor are all the same for every dealer.
For the GLC @ 12k miles it is 58% and .00140.
Your payment will be determined by the vehicle that you select or more specifically the MSRP.

It looks like you have a really good deal. I wouldn't sweat the $300 markup to the acquisition fee.

Last but not least, happy new year!!

MSRP: $71,755
Effective selling/leasing price: $68,755
36 months lease
12,000 miles per year
51% residual
10 MSDs = $11,000
MF: 0.00021
Total out of pocket including MSDs: $14,034.91 (not including trucking*)
Monthly payment of $990.97 including 8.25% sales tax
60% residual for 36/7.5K
.00140/.00139 MF for RWD/AWD
Thank you very much.
Looks like they marked up the money factor to .00091, before crediting you with the MSDs (10 X .00007)
You could get that same money factor with just 7 MSDs, without the markup.
Or, 9 MSDs and the money factor would be .00007 (with no markup)
Residual is correct.
I get $915/mo.+tax with their numbers, so not far off.
Did they break down the $3034 over and above the $11000 MSDs?
