Pricing for lease is: $690/mth $2032.00 at signing. Will not apply any applicable incentives; Military, $750-2000 loyalty cash, -1.0% loyalty rate reduction, $500 GLC Dealer cash. Also will only cover last 3 payments in lease pull ahead program not last 5 as I was told.
I thought service loaners were eligible for new car incentives and leasing programs. Mercedes has a current leasing program for GLC $469/mth.

Thoughts on the deal?
It should be eligible for the new car lease program, but I don't have information on incentives. If we assume the $2032 covers the first payment, acquisition fee and DMV/dealer fees, then the payment should be $525/mo.+tax, assuming no residual reduction for current mileage. That's a long way from $690/mo.
I don't have all of the details on loaner lease programs, but it could be as simple as massive fees and money factor markups. Ask them what residual and money factor they are using.
I don't have information on the pull ahead program, but 5 payments is usually reserved for leasing 2017 models.
Hi everyone - is this a good deal: 2018 GLC300 RWD, MSRP of $48k , Houston, Texas Final price of car is just at $44k walkout (including tax/fees) approximately 36 mo / 12k mile lease for $668/month ($0 down)
?
They also want to add on some maintenance and some car care stuff on top of that. not sure about that, but the 668 is the just-car deal.

Must be getting some Texas tax credits, if the tax is that low. Acquisition fee is marked up from $795 If you have $1470/$465 for maintenance/excess wear, what is the $1240 service contract for?
Even with all of the extras (some of which you should definitely decline), the payment should only be $688/mo, not $730. Obviously, marking up the money factor, as well.

If you take reasonably good care of the vehicle, you can likely skip the excess wear coverage.
Not knowing MB service costs, I can't tell you if the $1470 for prepaying it is a good value or not.

I don't think it's as good as deal as I should be getting. My current MB was hit sustained a lot of damage, should have been totaled, dealer repaired instead of reporting to insurance total loss, repairs were 125% more than the acv so car is illegal in every state..should not be a car anymore. MBFS/Daimler caught filed total loss claim with gap insurance and insurance. Dealership and insurance are attempting to cover by calling me offering 5 payment pull ahead, waiver of excess wear/tear and mileage (which isn't a deal because total loss claim would cover all of that) go to dealer they hit me with sky high pricing as though their back isn't against the wall staring down the barrel of an insurance fraud claim. Chose the GLC coupe because I like the car but dealer is not trying to work with me at all, which Imo under the circumstances is insane. I have to get out of this car because it is not supposed to be a car....it's supposed to be scrapped but dealers are stressing me out with their arrogant stance. Thoughts?

Not a lawyer...
How much documentation do you have that proves your claim?
A call to the Attorney General of your state, the state board of auto dealers, and your local 'consumer advocate' might get the dealer to change their tune. Be polite, but firm.
All of the repair invoices and a MB spreadsheet showing the actual residual value of my car. The invoices equal 125% of the actual cash value of the car. My state requires that cars with damage that costs more than 91% of the ACV to repair be scrapped. They are not to be repaired or returned to the road.

Was it a leased car?
Yes
If MBFS gets a total loss claim, won't you be in the clear, as far as the current lease? Can you just wait until that happens, then get whatever you want, from whoever you want?
I’m using a net cap cost of $40,645 and residual of $28,127 and money factor of .00062 and getting $390 before tax and no maintenance.
Am I missing something? Thank you for any and all help!
Does the selling price include maintenance, or is that extra? If the maintenance is residualized, did you add that to the MSRP? If so, at what price? If that's $2000 due at signing, you can't apply it all to CAP reduction, as the first payment has to come out of that.

MSRP $51485.00
Maximum Security deposits are at 10
Residual for 7500 miles is 60% - 30891.00
MF before MSD .00162 after MSD .00092
$1000.00 incentive on the GLC
Price $45169.00
$470.00 lic fees
$80.00 Doc fee
$137.75 Gov fees
$585.32 1st payment
$1095.00 Acq fee
$47537.07 net cap cost
10 security deposits - $6500.00
$534.54 plus LA Co tax $585.32
I agree with the calculations.
1) Acquisition fee marked up by $300 2) Money factor marked by .00023, before applying the MSD reduction. 3) Make sure they are quoting you for a 4Matic. The RWD model money factor is .00132, and money factor markups are usually round numbers (so, .00030, not .00023). It would make me nervous that the marked up money factor is similar to the RWD money factor.
4) Those two markups add about $29/mo. to the payment
I’ve attached a build sheet for 2018 Glc non 4matic. Would you guys please take a look and let me know if there is anything off?
using max 10 MSD and 2k down.
thanks for the help!
The calculations are all correct.. $2000 upfront from you, besides the security deposit.
The acquisition fee is marked up by $300 Appears they are charging you $100 more than list price for the maintenance. You can see that you are paying $1120, while Mercedes only allows them to add $1020 to the residual.
Other than the extra $400 in markups, everything looks good. No money factor markup. Nice big discount, and residualizing the maintenance is a good deal.
Is the RV standard anywhere you go? Also, is the MF you're quoting straight from the financing dept of Mercedes Benz? Thank you
Yes.. the numbers are national. Residuals cannot be altered by the dealer. The money factor is for top tier credit, and dealers can mark up that number for extra profit.
I got below 2 quotes for GLC 300AWD in Claifornia. 12KMILES, 36 MONTHS, 58% RESIDUAL Is there any risk if we put the security deposit ~ 6500 usd as per 2nd quote. (I mean ,dealer can charge anything extra for wear and tear/tires/etc.. since I have security deposit with them?) Please tell us the pros and cons with the MSDs?
1) Without any MSD, MF is 0.00139
2) With 10 MSDs, MF is 0.00069 ; ~ 6500 usd as down payment. please refer the attached quotes.
Comments
The vehicle does have a backup camera. I will ask about adding maintenance to the MSRP.
Very much appreciated!

Thank you so much for this forum it's sooooo helpful! Have questions regarding a 2018 GLC Coupe 4Matic w/2744 miles
Current price: $47,990 how much lower do you think I can get it?
MF for 36/10 and 36/12
residual
MO and MI
I was quoted as much as 1,204 per month for a brand new 2018 GLC Coupe 4 matic not AMG. Zero down 36/12. This pricing seemed absurd.
Is $47,990 the asking price or the MSRP?

The money factor is for top tier credit, and dealers can mark up that number for extra profit.

The perma plate, ding shield and doc fee are essentially junk, and together are adding about $36/mo to the payment.
Acquisition fee is marked up from $795
As noted, MF is marked up - tell them you won't sign a deal unless you get the base MF.

Is there any risk if we put the security deposit ~ 6500 usd as per 2nd quote.
