A dealer in Burlington, MA is offering $258/month, 36/10 with $2,995 down for the base stinger AWD ($35,000). That seems like a very good deal. Am I missing something? Would I get the rebate on top of that (and what is the Mass rebate on the base model right now)? If I wanted to go for the Premium, what would be a good counter offer to the dealer? Thanks!

If that's the advertised deal, then they have already applied the incentives.

Advertisements are just that. Not offers. Don't be surprised if it's $4500 due at signing and $275/mo. with tax, once you inquire. That's not an amazing deal. About $400/mo, with just first payment due at signing, most likely.

Thanks! The MSRP is 32800 on flyer doesn't show sale price. I will visit them tomorrow to see details. Also their price is for 36/12, I will try if 36/10 can make the payment even lower.

Yes! I got the car Saturday $700 down $201/m for 36/10k. Include fees and 7% tax. Trade in a car for $1800. So the final sale is $21xxx.

It turns out they posted a wrong ad online and they just want to sell as is to me, then they can get rid of that ad. Saves my time to negotiate numbers.

We are charged 6.25% tax in texas and have to pay on entire value of the car.

Im going to ask for the following:

MSRP: $40,150
Sell Price: $35,150
Customer cash: $0
Rebate: $4,800
Adjusted Cap (incldes acq fee, title and license, dealer doc fees etc and $2196.88 taxes): $33,447
Buy Rate MF
36 month at 10K miles /yr
Zero due at signing, sign and drive

I get $451.42/month. Question: The payment comes out $5 cheaper if i dont roll the taxes into the Cap cost and instead have the $2,196.88 assessed separately. Why?

Also, is there a 24 month program?

There is no 24 month program for the Stinger.

The payment should be a lot less if you pay the taxes up front.

But, we don't recommend that. If the car is stolen or totaled, you won't get a refund on the pre-paid taxes.

Do you think you can get $5K off the sticker price, before the lease cash?

Someone on KIA forum posted they got a $52K GT2 negotiated down to $46K (BEFORE manufcacturer cash incentives). This was last month. Im going to grind them all the way down to discounting $5k off

I dont want to pay anything up front. i want true sign and drive. i figured out why its $5 more..its becasue that increases the Cap cost becasue you multiply that by the MF.

$450 is the payment i will request on a true sign and drive zero due at signing.

FYI, I was able to get this offer:

Stinger GT1 AWD (Indiana):

Taxes/Fees (rolled into pmt): $1568.50 - includes $35.5 registration, $199 doc, $650 acquisition, $385 tax on incentive, and $299 “theft cost”
Payment: $588 (w/7% tax), with only 1st payment due ($538 w/ no taxes)

They would also have had to trade with an out-of-state dealer for the car because I'm picky on colors. I walked out when they wouldn’t budge on the theft cost/etching fee.

I also had a negotiated price for a GT2 AWD at $47,731 (MSRP $52,300), which, running the numbers (6500 lease cash, 53% residual, .00226MF for GT2) comes out to $566 (pre-tax) or $621 (w/ IN 7% tax + taxed incentive) including their etching fee. Didn’t like the GT2 colors available though.
