Hi. I was wondering if I could get the residuals on 48 month 10/12,000 mile leases. Any model that has 4 doors. Looking for the best 3 residuals. I'll be leasing in the next few days and the model will be predicated on the best residual factor. Zip is 60439. I assume money factor is .0002? Thanks!

We don't have the Standard money factor for either month, but it tends to float around .00200

I was quoted $400 a month on a jeep wrangler S unlimted new body style. with $3000 down, which covered the taxes and fees, first month. its for 15K miles and 39 months. the msrp of the vehicle is $40,970. how does this deal sound?

Is the acquisition fee of $595 (or waived) for Chrysler capital standard everywhere? I just received an updated quote in Seattle where the acquisition fee bumped up to 895. The quoted MF for a JLU Sport S was 0.00252 for tier 1 credit, which also seems high. Thanks!

Can someone double check my math??? I am looking at a JLU Rubicon with an MSRP of $54,945. Dealership is trying to sell me on an Ally lease with a 48/15 RV of 69%, MF of 0.0033. Sale price is $53,147 (I know, if I orde I can get a better deal, but $1500 over invoice is worth it to me to not have to wait 10 weeks on a build). They agreed to lower to cost the Apex GPs security thing that they install, so only $351 instead of $1499 and Texas is a full sales tax upfront, but they told me that Ally rebates all but 1%. So I have a cap cost of $54,029 (I’ll deal with any other fees separately). Based on the above, I call out a payment of around $590/month (both my own calculator in excel and leasehackr). Dealer is trying to tell me it’s $789. I worked it out and think they are using a MF of 0.0055 and not 0.0033. Can someone calculate it and see if I’m right?

Looks that way. Could be your dealer is using a different bank.

That’s right.......my 5590 was including $2k down.......$639 is what I get with nothing down. So dealer either made a typo or is an extreme scammer.

OR dealer may be marking up the MF for extra profit.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Both of these are elevated, by the way, from a different Portland dealer's quoted MF of .00209 (seems to be current base) on a different stock number.

The problem is I'm having a hard time finding the particular configuration I want -- only one dealer within ~200 miles. So the other dealers appear to be increasing the MF and/or acquisition fee to cover shipping costs and then some.

Chrysler Capital allows dealers to mark up the acquisition fee by $300.

So I pressed him to give me a payment through chrysler’s Program. He came out at $789...........I backed into a MF
of 0.003958 or apr of 9.5%. How’s that for a cheat. Am I allowed to mention. The dealer on here?

The "Standard MF" seems to frequently be a great unknown here on this forum. I have two questions about this:

1. I was wondering how accurate (or inaccurate) it is to use the Lease Calculator at the end of the Jeep.com "Build & Price" process to estimate the Chrysler Capital's "Standard MF" at any given time? Using the known residuals from this forum for the given model/term/mileage allowance, it seems to me that your can back-in to the MF rate used by Jeep.com's "Lease Calculator" (currently approximately .00179). Since the "Buy Calculator" uses the current Chrysler Standard APR of 4.28%, doesn't it stand to reason that the "Lease Calculator" would use the "Standard MF" (which incidentally is almost identical to the Chrysler Standard APR (4.28/2400=.001783333)?

2. Wouldn't some of the more knowledgeable persons on this forum (i.e. Moderators, who I assume are insiders with dealerships or otherwise closely involved in the industry) have the MF information the first time they leased any car to a customer that used Chrysler Capital's "Standard MF"? I am surprised given the number of vehicles that must be leased daily from any given CDJR Dealer that the "Standard MF" is not a know fact within a day or two of the start of the month.

FWIW, I was just "told" by a dealer that the Standard MF was .00217 for a 2-Dr JL Rubicon and that the lowest he would go on my deal was .00255 (with top tier credit), but I am not sure I believe him (i.e. I think he may have been padding the MF by more than the .00038 that he admitted).

Also, not sure if its true or not, but he also said the acquisition fee was $895 on a 48/12 lease and the $595 was only for 36-month leases (or he may have just been adding the allowed $300 padding and using the 48-mo term as justification for it).
