Michael - are the incentives on the 18s that much better then in the 19s? I looked in the other forum and it looks like if I find an 18, it’s significantly better. Is that right? What would the incentives be on an 18 v a 19 for The terms above?

Yes.. 2018 has lower money factor and higher incentives. Of course, it has lower residuals.
Hi ive heard the current program ends 8/4. Would you happen to know the numbers for the new program that starts after? My zip code is 30328 and am looking at either a 4cyl base, tech, or possibly v6 base. 36/12.

Thanks for the heads up. Can I still get the lease numbers for the current programs? My local dealer is telling me that a 4cyl base model vs 4 cyl tech, the payment is only differing by about $10 which sounds strange because the msrp is $3000 difference.

Quote I am getting on a 2019 Acura TLX Aspec. This looks like a crappy deal. Any feedback??
What state?
Numbers on the right look to be for purchase. Ask the dealer for the CAP cost they used for the lease payment quotes.
This is in TX.
Cap cost used for lease quote
Ugh - leasing in Texas, frankly, sucks.
And, there is a grand of junk added in.
The $4250 discount looks OK, until you realize there is $3450 of lease cash in that.
Ask for more of a discount, and have them ditch the junk.
That should help.
But, the tax situation is hard to overcome.
Thoughts on revised bid? I feel they could do better.
Hello all, I was given this offer. Wondering what you guys think
MSRP? Selling price?
I'd skip paying the acquisition fee and cash down up front - only the first payment, taxes and non-taxable fees should be paid when you sign the paperwork.
He didn’t say. All he said was it was $3250 below dealer invoice, which I calculated to $42515 from the price on their website inventory.
I wanted to put cash down to lower the monthly payment.
Also I forgot to mention that they offered to take the remaining 2 payments of my current lease ($530/month)
"Offered to take" - I'd be wary of that. Those payments are due, and they often end up in the new deal. That will add about $30/mo to the new lease payment.
And, invoice is whatever the dealer wants it to be. I'd suggest you do some price research and determine what price you're willing to pay.
Hello - Can you provide me with the RV, MF and lease cash for a 2019 Acura TLX A-Spec V6 SH-AWD, FWD and 4Cyl 36/12 in 43232. I went to dealer tonight and got a quote of $498 a month(36), $2500 down on the 4Cyl. Car cost was $38,371 and was told the RV was 54%. I'm thinking I could be in a V6 for this price.

Can someone explain to me how I can use these figures to my advantage? I am not sure if the dealer I am using is trying to take advantage of me or not giving me the best deal possible. I am getting the type of quote on the 4cyl A-Spec that people in here are getting on the AWD V6.

An Acura dealer has to use the money factor and residual stated here.
So, your variables are the selling price and garbage fees.
If all the dealer is giving you is the monthly payment and amount due at signing, these numbers likely won't help you. Get all of the details from the dealer for the lease quote, and use these numbers to check the calculations.
Thanks to this forum, my whole deal just got to where I cannot beat it. Last night I was quoted the 4Cyl A-Spec for $498 a month w/ $2500 down 12/36. I got home and found this site and the deals people were getting on the V6 and sent an email to my sales person this morning. I am now getting the V6 FWD A-Spec for $450 a month taxes included w/$2800 down, 12/36. I do not know the MF and RV at this point. We have been just talking payment over text for the last hour or so.

You should get the numbers behind the payment, so you can determine if it's been padded or not.

I will get the numbers and post here for others that may be able to use it for their sale. Can you explain to me why I should care at this point? What I mean by that is $450 is the right in my budget. I'll make 35 more of those and turn the car in at the end for something else. How does the numbers affect this plan?

Hello r1mavic, I’ve learned a lot off this forum and I’ve been leasing cars for more than 10 years. $450 definitely sounds like a great monthly payment. But it’s important to know what “Money Factor” the dealer is using. Sometimes dealers can inflate the MF for extra profit which will increase your monthly payment. Think about it, what if your payment could be $430 a month? Hope this helps.

Exactly what he said … why would you make a financial decision involving tens of thousands of dollars without knowing every last piece of data that goes into the deal? Not only could the MF be marked up (FWIW, that rarely happens with Acura dealers), but there could be junk fees that are padding your payment.
Here are the details of the deal I am closing tomorrow. Can someone dissect this and tell me if $450 is in my favor? Thank you!
I agree with the numbers on that worksheet, but a point to note:
Skip the $3000 out of pocket for this deal. We recommend you pay only the first payment and registration costs up front, and roll the other taxes and fees into the monthly payment.
Why?
Let's say, that a month from now, your car gets stolen or totaled. That up front cash will be gone - you think the state of Ohio will refund you the pre-paid sales tax? And, the $2100 of CAP reduction? GAP insurance does not work the same way for a lease than it does for purchase. It only pays off the balance of the lease payments.
The whole idea of a lease is "pay as you go" - would you prepay rent on an apartment? Best to minimize the up front costs.
When I lease, I only pay the first payment when I sign the paperwork (In CO, registration is handled at the county level, so I pay that separately).
