    So my wife signed a closed end motor vehicle lease agreement on a 2018 RX 350 F sport 3yr 12K Lease.
    MSRP 59,949
    Purchase price 58,592.96
    Due at signing 3,278- lexus lease cash 2500 +1 mo 778.
    Mo Payment 778.

    Seems like a bad deal to me. We are turning in a GX460L with equity they told me but I don't see it applied anywhere. When we went to pick up the vehicle is was the wrong color. SO they ordered the one she wanted but has to wait. After researching I see we are paying way too much. Everything on the lease is post dated, so I'm wondering if I can get out of it?

    Call the dealer right now, and tell them you are backing out of the deal. That your wife negotiated it without your knowledge and that you are unhappy with it.

    $1360 off MSRP is not very good, I agree.

    What eats me is I'm turning in a 70+K GX460L, the 3rd one that I've leased in 8 years, this last lease was 892/ mo 48/15 .. i have 50K on the odo right now and car is clean. I know there is equity in it. Sales person even said there was. But there is no trade in, no money down from trade in equity, nothing. Just a clean wipe of my old lease. So seeing these people get the same RX for mid 550's to 600 is what I should be getting minimal IMO. Been leasing with Lexus Teir 1 for 10yrs... maybe thats why they keep me around, made some coin off me.

    36 month, 12,000 mile lease on our $57.253 RX 350 F Sport AWD. As the numbers stand now, there's many aspects that are missing so i emailed for a detailed breakdown, nothing yet in 24 hrs.

    Money Factor - .00085
    Residual - 56%
    $5,753 discount
    $2,500 Lexus rebate
    $669 monthly including all taxes and fees.


    Ridiculous. I want the base rate. Why do dealers don't want to email the numbers as if you're asking them to do something illegal. I don't get it. I don't need a test drive, I just want the car i want at a fair price.

    How much is the dealer asking for at signing with that quote?

    Dealers are wising up - they are offering larger discounts from sticker, but clawing some of that back with an inflated MF. Up to you to decide how to proceed.

    Dealers don't want to share numbers, because they are afraid you'll shop them around. Which, frankly, you will. Stalemate.

    Florida dealers seem to be the toughest in the country to work with.

    Did as you said and they asked me to come in ASAP so they can correct it. Thanks for the help. If I don't walk out of under 650 I'm not buying. I will shoot for under 600. If it fails I'll probably keep the GX and look into an SQ5 Prestige S Sport pkg

    Can I please have the RV for RX 350 F sport 36/10 and 39/10. Is there any benefit in getting 39/10 vs 36/10? Also, do you think that the RV will go down in September? What are the odds of Lexus upping the lease cash on the West coast to 2500 in September and keeping the RV the same? Trying to decide if I should wait a month or two before I sign a lease. Thanks!

    Current program runs through September 4th. New residuals will come out on September 5th. Since it's been two months since the last adjustment, I would expect them to go down, but that is no guarantee.

    I wouldn't put odds on changes, either way. Too hard to predict.

    With a 2% drop in residual for an extra 3 months, the 39 month term will result in a lower payment. Plus, fixed costs like title/acquisition fees would be amortized over a longer period, which favors 39 months.
    On the negative side: The extra mileage makes it more likely you'll need tires, brakes or other maintenance. Also, if your driving needs change, you are stuck in the lease for an extra 3 months.

    The East Region states all have the same money factor and lease cash

    So this is what the dealer came back with after i asked for them to list all the numbers:
    MSRP: $57,253
    Selling Price: $51,500
    Lease Cash: $2,500
    Acquisition Fee: $795 (already factored into the out-of-pocket amount quoted below)
    Dealer Handling Fee: $799 (already factored into the out-of-pocket amount quoted below)
    Base MF: .00085
    RV for 36/12k: $32,061
    Tax Rate: 7% (Palm Beach County)
    Total Monthly with taxes: $606 with $2,000 total out of pocket. You will have 35 monthly payments of $606 remaining.
