    2018 Edge Sport (White Platinum, 401A, Panoramic Vista Roof, 21-inch tires). MSRP $48,790. Incentives $5450 on a 36 month, 10,000 miles per year.
    The question is, Is there any further room for negotiations with the dealer? of should i lease based on a price of MSRP minus Incentive?

    We don't track pricing.

    You should negotiate a discount from sticker, then apply the incentive.

    I am looking to lease a Ford Edge SEL and the vehicle has both a package discount and equipment group savings on the sticker. It brings the MSRP down $1,400. Does anyone know if Ford Credit bases the residual value for leasing purposes on price before or after the package/equipment discounts? The MSRP on the sticker is after the discounts. Dealer seems to be drawing up deal based upon residual calculated on original pre-discount price. It brings my residual value up and I am thinking about buying after. Plus it messed up my negotiation calculations. What if dealer messes up???

    Ford uses the MSRP before the package discounts are deducted.
    So, it's not necessarily the bottom line of the window sticker, like most makes.

    Higher residual = lower payment.

    So, if you don't buy it out, you are ahead. If you do buy it out, you break even.
