Can I please have the MF & RV on a 36/12 lease in zip 92677 for a 2019 FWD A220. It looks like a typical discount off MSRP is around $4k on a $38k MSRP car. Does that sound correct? Thank you!

Thanks for the help! This is the deal we got; MSRP $38,870 MF .00110 RV 58%, Acquisition fee $795 (they tried to mark it up to $1095), $3000 off of invoice (or dealer net) = sales price of $34,337. Payment incl. tax worked out to $400.00 (they lowered it a bit to get to an even number, not sure what was adjusted) for 36 mos & 12k miles.

With the marked up money factor, adjusted CAP would be about $35,300. $2800 over the sale price
$795 acquisition fee $490 first payment (since ZERO due upfront) $500 DMV fees
That leaves another $1000 of dealer fees.
The discount looks great, but an extra $1000 of fees, and another $1000 of payment due to the MF markup. Equivalent to getting the base rates/acq.fee, etc, but only a $2200 discount from MSRP.
I wouldn't be happy with that. The lease program doesn't make the car cheap to lease, anyway.
Somewhere around $440-$460 mo, with ZERO due at signing would be fair/reasonable.

Appreciate the feedback. You’re right, I did originally ask about MF/Res for 36/12 (not 7.5, actually) but dealer pushed 48/12 on me to try to get the monthly cost down (and also bring the residual down I guess?). I will take your advice and try to go the other way with taxes and down payment into monthly payment. Thanks. ($450/$3000 still seems high to me for entry level MB though )

Not sure why they subtracted $494.00 from amount financed to get total payment. Also given the residual and mf you gave me I’m coming up with $446.26. I am also using $795.00 acquisition fee instead of their $1,095.00.
Are they trying to show me a discount but inflating their numbers to make up for it? Am I pretty accurate at $446.26?

Using their numbers ($36848 amt financed), I get the same $498/mo.
Yes, big discount, but clawing it back with the money factor markup.
Also, if they are using 59% residual, then the mileage allowance is only 10K/yr

Thanks in advance!
Dealers can mark it up to $1095 - and, many do.
Just negotiate a lower selling price.

Tom was offered 0.00156 (3.75%) MF for his lease.
He has 3K in bank(saving interest only 0.5%) assuming he don't need that money for next 3 years and don't want to buy a CD.
Question: Will he be saving any monies if he put the 3K down for his new car lease? and how much?
And, tell the dealer that he won't sign any deal unless he gets the base MF.

This is the deal I’ve been offered - would love to hear your thoughts on this.
MSRP - $39,245
Discounted to: $36830
Government Fee: $126
Doc Fees: $399.50
Capitalized Taxes (Have to pay upfront in Oklahoma): 1,211.59
Residual Value: $18,445
48mo/12K - FWD
LeaseHackr calculator says with .00110 and 60%, this deal should be $324/$2999.
They won’t budge from $450/$3000.
How do I get this price down? TIA.
60% is the 36/7.5K residual, which is what you originally asked for.
With the MSRP and discounted prices given, $444/mo
What the saying? "Garbage in, garbage out"?
The quote looks to be correct, when the right numbers are used.
Don't you have the option to add the taxes into the cap cost and make them part of the payment? That would be our recommendation, if it's available.
We suggest only the first payment and registration costs be paid at signing, and roll the taxes and fees into the monthly payment.
